摘要: A method for providing automated inventory management in a system having a storage bin, an accelerometer system coupled to the storage bin, and an inventory management system communicatively coupled to the accelerometer system. An accelerometer of the accelerometer system generates a data representative of a movement of the storage bin and the system determines whether the generated data matches a data that is indicative of a replenishment needed event being performed upon the storage bin. The inventory management system initiates the replenishment of the product when replenishment is determined to be needed.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for advantageously forecasting an inventory of a product having a particular duration (e.g., video content). The technique can include determining the particular configuration (e.g., maximum number of impressions, maximum amount of time permitted) of breaks identified within an impression log. Based on the number of breaks and the configurations of the breaks, the technique can forecast a future inventory of the product. In some implementations, the disclosed technique can identify an amount of a previous break that was not filled with video content. These forecasts can enable product sellers to better communicate with their customers, negotiate supply contracts, price their products, plan for business operations, etc.

摘要: In a method for producing a product in a technical plant, after receipt of an order for producing the product, components necessary for producing the product are identified, and work steps necessary for producing the product are identified. Identified components and work steps are entered in a product file stored on a transport system. The components entered in the product file are acquired by the transport system, which is documented in the product file, and the work steps entered in the product file are executed, which is documented in the product file. The product file remains on the transport system until the acquisition of each component and the execution of each work step are documented in the product file. A technical plant for producing a product, is adapted to execute the method and includes a transport system having a digital data memory for storing the product file.

摘要: A method for calculating an object pick-and-place sequence and an electronic apparatus for automatic storage pick-and-place are provided. When a warehousing operation is to be performed, the following steps are performed. A weight of an object to be stocked that is to be put on a shelf is obtained. The weight is substituted into a plurality of coordinate positions corresponding to a plurality of unused grid positions respectively, so as to calculate a plurality of estimated center of gravity positions. Whether the estimated center of gravity positions are located within a balance standard area is determined so as to sieve out a plurality of candidate grid positions from these unused grid positions. One of the candidate grid positions is selected as a recommended position of the object to be stocked.

摘要: Implementations set forth herein relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for operating applications that allow users to indicate their willingness to provide items and/or services to other users and/or a third party. When an item is indicated as available for requesting, and an item is thereafter requested by a requesting user, a server device can cause instances of an item transferring application to provide a corresponding indication to item transferring users within a certain context. Values can be submitted by item transferring users, based on their current context, in furtherance of providing services that facilitate transfer of an item from an item creating user to an item requesting user. Other values can be submitted by the item transferring users in furtherance of characterizing a task of transferring items from a third party entity, who may not be accessing an associated application, to an item requesting user.

摘要: Systems and methods for autonomously dispensing items. A dispensing system receives a first distributed ledger transaction that: i) identifies an item, ii) identifies a container associated with and containing the item, iii) includes a status indicator in a first state identifying the item as present in the container, and iv) includes an authorization code associated with a mobile device. The authorization code is received from the mobile device. The dispensing system creates a second distributed ledger transaction based on the first distributed ledger transaction that changes the status indicator to a second state identifying the item as authorized for dispensing. Responsive to the creation of the second distributed ledger transaction, access is autonomously provided to the item. The dispensing system creates a third distributed ledger transaction based on the second distributed ledger transaction that changes the status indicator to a third state identifying the item as dispensed.
