    Abstract: A system and method for converting between in-game digital assets and cryptocurrency tokens on a distributed ledger. Transaction message are created and digitally signed by users and broadcast for incorporation into the distributed ledger. Assets may be fungible or non-fungible tokens implemented as Smart Contracts on a blockchain. Assets may represent avatars, game currency, tools earned in a game. Certain assets may be transferred from one game to another game via the ledger.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for bridging native tokens. Various aspects may include initializing a first blockchain by allocating a plurality of native tokens. Aspects may also include transferring, using a bridge, one or more transactions from a second blockchain to the first blockchain using locked tokens on the second blockchain as collateral. Aspects may also include minting new native tokens at the first blockchain when a value of transactions sum to the plurality of native tokens and the plurality of native tokens are backed by the locked tokens. Aspects may also include reporting, to the second blockchain, the amount of tokens used for the transaction fees in the one or more transactions. Aspects may also include burning, at the second blockchain, tokens corresponding to the amount of tokens used for paying transaction fees.

    Abstract: A method of authenticating a card for use with a mobile device is provided. The method includes: receiving a payment transaction from the mobile device; identifying the payment transaction as an authentication request by determining that the payment transaction includes a predefined transaction charge amount; based on the predefined transaction charge amount, processing the authentication request as a transaction request to reveal a cryptogram; decrypting the cryptogram to determine resulting information; verifying the authentication code that was generated by the payment card and wirelessly transmitted to the mobile device; approving the authentication request based on the verification; and, activating the payment card that enables the mobile device to complete transactions involving the payment card.

    Abstract: A block packaging method based on blockchain transaction is used in an electronic device. The electronic device controls each node in the blockchain to receive and store a blockchain transaction, and calculate a hash value of the each node according to the blockchain transaction, generate a package voting information according to the hash value of the each node, and send the package voting information to a voted node. The electronic device further controls the each node to record the number of votes as the voted nodes according to the package voting information to obtain the number of votes of the each node, take the node with the largest number of votes as a target node according to the number of votes, and pack the blockchain transaction into blocks and broadcast the blocks to all nodes in the blockchain.

    Abstract: A card reader of a terminal is cryptographically verified upon initialization, power up, connection, or start of day processing of the terminal. A cryptographic and signed token is provided from and verified by an Encrypted Personal Identification Number (PIN) pad (EPP) of the terminal. Each time the reader initializes, the token is verified by the EPP and a new token is generated and provided to the reader for use during a next initialization cycle of the reader. If the reader lacks a token when the EPP has record that is should have the token, the reader is not authorized to perform card transactions for the terminal. If a token provided by the reader during an initialization cycle is not verified, the reader is not authorized to perform card transactions for the terminal.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for secure payment processing are disclosed. An issuer vault generates payment items, which correspond to consumer account information and which replicate the structure of the account information but do not include consumers' actual account number. The payment items, rather than the actual account information, are communicated to on-line and mobile payment services for use by consumers in payment transactions. When a consumer uses a payment item in a payment transaction and the transaction undergoes authorization processing, the payment authorization network uses the payment item to request and receive the actual account information from the issuer vault. The authorization network uses the actual account information for the limited use of authorizing the transaction. Once the transaction has been authorized using the actual account information, the processing of the transaction continues using the payment item information rather than the actual account information.
