摘要： A serpentine dispenser and cartridge system provides simplified stocking and restocking of the dispenser, as well as jam-free dispenser feeding. Cartridge opening flaps allow a cartridge be inverted and inserted into a dispenser while products in the cartridge are prevented from falling out. A dispenser wedge applies pressure on rolling products as the cartridge is inserted into the dispenser, forcing a retaining flap open so that rolling products may exit the cartridge and enter the dispenser. The wedge may also constrain rolling products to exit the cartridge in an order that prevents jamming.

The characteristic feature of the invention is that at least some of the supporting structures (22) have a distributing ring (24) co-operating with the supporting tray (23).

摘要： A drinking-water service system for supplying individual cylindrical containers of drinking water to athletes. A storage and dispensing unit for storing the containers for semi-automatically sequentially dispensing individually the drinking water containers to athletes. A multi-stage storage and delivery control passageway has a rolling section generally inclined downwardly for receiving and storing the containers disposed side by side and gravity biased. An uprighting section receives the containers from the rolling section successively and its surfaces cause the containers to assume an upright position for travel downwardly to a dispensing section which has a dispensing outlet opening through which the containers are dispensed to a horizontal stand surface. Flexible retainers at the opening effectively retain an upper part of the individual cans dispensed so that the next successive container is retained in the dispensing section and the containers can be manually grasped below the retainers and removed from the stand surface. When a container is removed a next successive container is dispensed from the dispensing section through the opening on to the stand surface under the control of gravity.

摘要： A newspaper vending machine has a newspaper holder with a dispensing housing that holds the newspaper in the holder. When the door of the vending machine is opened, the dispensing housing is mechanically moved from its closed position to an open position which allows a single newspaper to be dispensed down a delivery chute to a location adjacent the door for access by the customer. The dispensing housing is designed to inhibit more than one newspaper at a time from sliding down the chute. The closure of the door mechanically returns the dispensing housing to its closed position and allows another newspaper to load into the dispensing housing for delivery to the next customer.

摘要： A medicament dispenser having a plurality of inclined bins each holding a plurality of cylindrical carriers having a medicament container, such as a hypodermic syringe package, therein prefilled with a desired medicament. A conveyor mechanism movable on a track around the periphery of the bins is stopped at the discharge end of a selected bin. Actuating bars open the conveyor mechanism and a gate on the outlet end of the selected bin to allow a single carrier to enter the conveyor. The conveyor then moves to labeling and ejector stations where the medicament container is labeled and removed from the carrier for delivery to a discharge outlet. The conveyor then returns the empty carrier to the inlet end of the bin from which it was retrieved. The dispenser is automatically controlled by an electronic control system.
