    摘要： A smart cable lock is provided that is configured to mechanically secure items and provide an automatic determination that securing is achieved. The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.

    摘要： Devices and methods for locating accessories of an electronic device are provided. In one example, a method may include detecting parameters associated with disconnecting an accessory from the electronic device. The electronic device, or an associated device, may store the detected parameters so that the detected parameters are accessible if the accessory becomes lost. The electronic device may receive a request from a user of the electronic device for assistance in locating the accessory. In response to the request for assistance in locating the accessory, the electronic device may provide the stored parameters to the user of the electronic device to aid them in searching for their lost accessory.

    摘要： An anti-tamper assembly is disclosed for a circuit board which comprises one or more electronic components. The assembly comprises a container having side walls, a first closed end and a second, opposing open end, the container being configured to be mounted on said circuit board at said open end, over at least one of the electronic components to form, in use, a sealed cavity around said at least one of said electronic components. The assembly further comprises a source of radioactive particles mounted within the container, an image sensor for capturing image frames within said sealed cavity, in use. The image sensor comprises a detector region defining an array of pixels, a screen member located, in use, within the cavity between the radioactive source and the detector, said screen member having at least one aperture, and a processor for retrieving said captured image frames, monitoring said image frames for changes in the statistical distribution of active pixels and, in the event that statistical distribution of active pixels indicates the presence of a feature in an image frame, generating a tamper alert.

In one example, a merchandise security system includes a plurality of security devices, wherein each of the security devices includes a sensor configured to be attached to an article of merchandise. The system also includes a controller in communication with each of the security devices, wherein the controller is configured to communicate with a remote device to lock at least one of the security devices such that the article of merchandise and the sensor cannot be removed from the base.
