摘要: An augmented reality system including: a physical anatomic model; a display unit via which a user is adapted to receive first and second optic feedbacks, the first optic feedback emanating from the physical anatomic model and passing through the display unit, and the second optic feedback emanating from the display unit and including a virtual anatomic model; a tracking system adapted to track a position and orientation of the display unit; and a computing device adapted to: receive a first signal from the tracking system relating to the position and orientation of the display unit, and send a second signal to cause the display unit to overlay the second optic feedback on the first optic feedback, the second signal being based on the first signal. In some embodiments, the second optic feedback further includes ancillary virtual graphics such as medical data, instructional steps, expert demonstrations, didactic content, and exigent circumstances.

摘要: A training system for dental procedures having a training device and a self-assessment for use with the training device is described. The training device is printed with a 3D printer and includes a predetermined anatomic form of at least a portion of a human jaw structure and a predetermined anatomic form of at least one human tooth structure. Part of the printed human tooth structure is rooted in the printed human jaw structure, and both structures are designed to have at least one analogous physical property to their corresponding human structures. The self-assessment includes a pictorial array of procedural outcomes of a procedural step so that a user can identify which image in the pictorial array best represents the user's own procedural outcome of the procedural step performed by the user on the training device and at least one feedback instruction.

摘要: In a simulator for emergency treatment training, a chest compression training module measures chest compression training information. An artificial, an artificial respiration training module measures respiration training information, an automated external defibrillator training module measures pad attachment training information, and a compression training module measures hemostatic compression training information. A control unit is installed in a trunk of a manikin and obtains pieces of training information from the chest compression training module, the artificial respiration training module, the automated external defibrillator training module, and the hemostatic compression training module. A monitoring apparatus is connected to the control unit in a wired or wireless manner, receives the pieces of the training information from the control unit, executes an evaluation program, generates an evaluation result, and displays the generated evaluation result on a screen.

摘要: A surgical training model can have features for training surgical suturing techniques. The training model can be formed as a sheet of simulated tissue having at least one cut with markings arranged on either side of the cut. The markings can be formed of a first layer of resilient simulated tissue material having a color that contrasts with a color of the remainder of the sheet of simulated tissue material. The sheet of simulated tissue material can have several cuts having different configurations and orientations to facilitate suturing training for a variety of tissue orientations. The sheet of simulated tissue material can further include holes positioned to be mounted to a base of a surgical training system. The sheet of simulated tissue material can be manufactured by molding a marking layer and casting a tissue layer over the marking layer.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a wearable medical trainer. The medical trainer may be embodied as a device for simulating wounds and injuries received during a trauma event, or otherwise. Aspects of the present disclosure further relate to a medical training device for Trauma Emergency Casualty Care and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). A wearable device may be worn by a live human (e.g., trauma actor) or simulated body (e.g., full/partial manikin, drag dummy, etc.). The medical trainers disclosed herein may include one or more simulated injuries, which may be operational or merely to provide more realism. The medical trainers disclosed herein may further include features directed toward to internal and/or external trauma injuries.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a system for evaluating a user during a physical cannulation simulation. The system includes a physical cannulation simulator and one or more sensors configured to measure data during the physical cannulation simulation by the user using the physical cannulation simulator. The system further includes one or more processors configured to receive the data measured by each of the one or more sensors and calculate metrics using the data. The one or more processors are further configured to apply a model to the metrics to determine a composite simulation success score and compare the composite simulation success score to a threshold score. In response to comparing the composite simulation success score to the threshold score, the one or more processors are configured to output an indication of one or more of an absolute performance or a relative performance for the first user during the physical cannulation simulation.
