摘要： A drum set comprising a cajon, a convertible top module and a convertible bottom module is provided. The cajon can have a top side, a bottom side, a striking side, an opposing resonant side, and two other sides. The top module can include a top mounting member removably attached over the top side of the cajon, the top mounting member has at least two top clamps configured to clamp at least two sides of the cajon. The top module also has a plurality of upward extending component mounting shafts removably attached to the top mounting member. The top module has one or more percussion modules configured to removably attach to one or more of the plurality of component mounting shafts. The bottom module can include a bottom mounting member removably attached under the bottom side of the cajon. The bottom mounting member has at least two bottom clamps configured to clamp at least two sides of the cajon. A drum kick assembly can be removably attached to the bottom mounting member and positioned on the striking side of the cajon and including a beater positioned to strike the striking side of the cajon to produce a sound. A hi-hat pedal assembly can be removably attached to the bottom mounting member and positioned on the resonant side of the cajon.

摘要： A double-stepping linkage pedal for a bass drum of a jazz drum is provided, in which a left pedal assembly is connected to a left hammerhead assembly, so that a front end of the left pedal assembly moves up and down to drive the left hammerhead assembly to swing back and forth. A left tension spring assembly and the left hammerhead assembly are elastically linked to the left pedal assembly in a swinging direction front-rear consistent manner. A right pedal assembly is drivingly connected to a right hammerhead assembly in a front-rear swinging manner, so that a front end of the right pedal assembly moves up and down to drive the right hammerhead assembly to swing back and forth. A right tension spring assembly and the right hammerhead assembly are elastically linked to the right pedal assembly in a swinging direction front-rear consistent manner.

摘要： A cable-driven beater mechanism for a percussion instrument has a base, a transmission shaft pivotally mounted on the base, a beater connected to the transmission shaft, a cable transmission assembly, a restoring spring and a cable. An elongated guiding slot is formed in the standing plate. The cable transmission assembly is pivotally mounted on the base and protrudes into the guiding slot. The cable and the transmission shaft are connected via the cable transmission assembly. Pulling force from a player is transferred via the cable to pivot the transmission shaft and the beater. The restoring spring returns the transmission shaft and the beater to an original position. The cable moves along a straight line during operation to reduce rubbing and repeated bending of the cable, which prolongs service life of the cable, reduces noise during operation, and allows the beater to respond more swiftly to the pulling force.

The drum kit has a body having a hollow interior cavity and a sound hole for transmitting sound wave from the interior cavity to exterior of the body, the body has a striking head and an opposing resonant head. A drum kick assembly is positioned on the striking head side of the body and including a beater positioned to strike the striking head of the body to produce a sound. A hi-hat pedal assembly is positioned on the resonant head side of the body.

摘要： A magnetic resistance system for use with drum sets that allows for various levels of magnetic repulsion between a drum beater and a batter head. A drum beater having a beater magnet is used in conjunction with an impact pad having an impact magnet. The drum beater is attached to a drum pedal, while the impact pad is integrated with the batter head of the drum, either directly or through a suspension bracket. The beater magnet and the impact magnet are oriented to repel each other as the drum beater is driven towards the batter head, thus creating an additional bounce back of the drum beater from the batter head of the drum. One or more subsequent impact pads may be interchanged or stacked with the impact pad in order to further increase the bounce back of the drum beater from the batter head.
