    摘要: An electronic percussion instrument and sound production control method thereof are provided. In an electronic cymbal, the output of a musical sound is controlled in accordance with the results of detection from a strike sensor when the strike sensor detects a strike on a striking surface. While the musical sound is output, if a user touches the striking surface, an electrostatic capacitance sensor outputs an output value in accordance with the contact condition so that the musical sound is attenuated in accordance with the output value while being output. Therefore, the user can attenuate the musical sound being output in accordance with the contact conditions on the striking surface, thereby silencing the musical sound by way of the action similar to that of the acoustic cymbal choke that is the action of touching the striking surface.

    摘要: Provided are an electronic cymbal and a case attachment method with which even when a case is attached to a frame, the distribution of hit sensitivity against a hit on the frame is uniform. In this electronic cymbal (1), the case (8) is attached to the frame (4) by fitting an outer peripheral hooking section (8b) of a case (8) into an outer peripheral support section (4b) of a frame (4), and fitting an inner peripheral enclosing section (8d) of the case (8) into the inner peripheral side of the frame (4). These components can be mounted without forming a screw hole in the frame (4) and screwing the case (8) and the frame (4). Thus, it is possible to suppress the stress concentration on a specific position of the frame (4) due to the screwing, and to uniformize the distribution of the hit sensitivity on the frame (4).

    摘要: An electronic percussion instrument, a stroke detection device, and a stroke detection method which can improve stroke detection accuracy are provided. A thickness dimension (L2) of an upper cover part (5b1) is approximately constant from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side in a region facing the upper surface of an outer circumferential part (4b3) of the frame bow part (4b) (a concave part formed according to a level difference between a bent part (4b2) and the outer circumferential part (4b3)). Accordingly, the entire upper cover part (5b1) is easily deformed such that it is bent when struck, and thus a protrusion part (5b3) can be securely pressed to an edge sensor (7b) according to deformation of the upper cover part (5b1). Therefore, the accuracy of detection of a stroke applied to the upper cover part (5b1) can be improved.

The sensor unit comprises a sheet-like piezoelectric element having a porous layer, and a sound propagation sheet covering at least one face of the piezoelectric element and permitting transmission of sound from a first face toward a second face of the sound propagation sheet. A difference in acoustic pressure level between the sound incident on the sound propagation sheet and the transmitted sound is preferably no greater than 10 dB. A surface density of the sound propagation sheet is preferably from 0.03 g/m2 to 100 g/m2. The sound propagation sheet is preferably flexible and preferably has voids. The sensor unit preferably further comprises a sound insulation sheet covering another face of the piezoelectric element and substantially preventing transmission of sound from a second face toward a first face of the sound insulation sheet.
