There is also disclosed a pressure sensor element (40, 40′, 40″, 40′″, 40IV, 40V, 40VI, 40VII), comprising a resistive element (44, 44′, 44″) providing a conduction path, a first electrode (42a, 42a-1, 42a-2, 42a-3, 42a-4, 42a-5, 42a-6), connected to the resistive element, a second electrode (42b, 42b′), which in a quiescent state is spaced from said first electrode, wherein the second electrode, when the pressure sensor element is subjected to a pressure, is arranged to contact said first electrode or said resistive element. The conductive pads are arranged in a first row of conductive pads and a second row of conductive pads in parallel with and at a distance to the first row of conductive pads. The contact electrode is disposed opposite the resistive element at an electrically insulating distance. At least one of the substrates is equipped with a flat leaf spring of spring-grade sheet metal attached flush thereto, which leaf covers the compression zone of the substrates.

A combined PTC device (10, 10′) is composed of two PTC devices respectively comprising a lamellar PTC element (12, 12′) which is composed of a polymeric PTC material and a pair of electrodes (14,16; and 14′,16′) which are arranged apart from each other on one side of the PTC element. The electrodes (14, 16) of one PTC device are respectively opposite to the electrodes (14′, 16′) of the other PTC device, and terminals (20, 21) are arranged between the respective opposite electrodes. The respective opposite electrodes and the terminal between them are electrically connected with each other.

    摘要: The invention relates to such signal transmitters for electrical signals which comprise an elastic body (1) consisting of an elastomer matrix containing carbon black as a filling agent. The invention solves the problem of extending the field of use of such signal transmitters and is based on the realization that this is attained if the elastic body is arranged so that, when deformed, it will be subjected to bending rather than compression. The carbon black should be of the structure-forming type and present in an optimized concentration interval, generally about 5-15 parts counted on 100 parts of the elastomer.

    摘要: A bounceless switch apparatus having a junction resistance which varies inversely with the pressure applied normally thereto which includes a first conductor member, a pressure-sensitive layer including a semiconducting material covering the first conductor member in intimate electrically conducting contact therewith and a second conductor member positioned in nonelectrically conducting relationship to the pressure-sensitive layer. The pressure-sensitive layer has a first surface with a multiplicity of microprotrusions of the semiconducting material which provide a multiplicity of surface contact locations. As the normally open switch is closed in response to a pressing force applied to urge the second conductor member and the first surface together, the physical contact between the microprotrusions and the second conductor increases thereby variably increasing conduction between the first conductor member and the second conductor member.
