Abstract: In a cost-effective and qualitatively better method for producing spacers for a winding unit of an electrical high-voltage device, at least two starting components are mixed together in a mixing chamber under vacuum to form a component mixture. The component mixture is transferred to an extrusion housing, likewise under vacuum, of an extruder in which a transport device is arranged and which is equipped with a mouthpiece delimiting an outlet opening. The extrudate exiting from the mouthpiece is cured by the addition of heat in a vacuum in order to obtain the spacers.

Abstract: An electronic substrate may be fabricated having a dielectric material, metal pads embedded in the dielectric material with co-planar surfaces spaced less than one tenth millimeter from each other, and a metal trace embedded in the dielectric material and attached between the metal pads, wherein a surface of the metal trace is non-co-planar with the co-planar surfaces of the metal pads at a height of less than one millimeter, and wherein sides of the metal trace are angled relative to the co-planar surfaces of the metal pads. In an embodiment of the present description, an embedded angled inductor may be formed that includes the metal trace. In an embodiment, an integrated circuit package may be formed with the electronic substrate, wherein at least one integrated circuit devices may be attached to the electronic substrate. Abstract: An inductive component comprises a magnetic core, a winding, and a coil body. The coil body comprises a contact element attached to a contact strip of the coil body for electrical connection to the winding, a magnetic core receptacle in which the magnetic core is received in part, and an elongate recess formed in the contact strip and extending only in part below the magnetic core and above the contact element and extending in a longitudinally direction of the contact strip. A cover cap is attached to the contact strip and covers at least in part a side surface of the magnetic core facing the contact element. The cover cap comprises a first wall section covering at least in part the side surface of the magnetic core facing the contact element. A second wall section of the cover cap extending perpendicular to the first side surface of the magnetic core is inserted into the recess formed in the coil body, where the second wall section extends between the magnetic core and the contact element in the coil body.

Abstract: A coil component includes a core, a wire, and outer electrodes. The core includes a winding core and a pair of flanges. A first axis orthogonally intersects a central axis. A first positive direction is a direction directed toward one side along the first axis. A first negative direction is directed oppositely to the first positive direction. Each outer electrode covers a surface of each flange, the surface facing in the first positive direction. The wire includes a body portion wound around the winding core and a bonded portion at each end of the wire and coupled to each outer electrode. In a cross section that orthogonally intersects the central axis and includes the bonded portion, the end of the bonded portion facing in the first negative direction is further in the first negative direction from the end of the outer electrode facing in the first positive direction.
