    Abstract: An intermediate car electric coupler control circuit for a subway vehicle includes a coupling state relay, a power supply circuit for a decoupling electromagnetic valve, a first power supply circuit for an electric coupler control relay, a second power supply circuit for an air path and electric coupler module control electromagnetic valve, and a third power supply circuit for a bus control contactor. A coupler coupling operation is performed exactly according to a sequence of a mechanical coupling, an air path conduction, an electric coupler extension, and a medium- and low-voltage bus closing, wherein contacts of electric couplers are prevented from being damaged. A coupler decoupling operation is performed exactly according to a sequence of a contact heavy-current removal, an electric coupler withdrawal, an air path disconnection and a mechanical decoupling, wherein the contacts are prevented from being damaged by a heavy current arcing and a discharge.

    Abstract: A switching arrangement for reducing contactor wear of an energy storage system having a plurality of battery packs arranged in parallel for powering a load. The switching arrangement includes a contactor for each battery pack. The contactors connect and disconnect the battery packs relative to the load by closing and opening, respectively, an electric arc reducing circuitry associated to one of the contactors. The switching arrangement is configured to electrically disconnect the battery packs from the load by means of the contactors such that the contactor being associated with the electric arc reducing circuitry is opened last.

    Abstract: A switching device includes an arc extinguishing chamber, an orifice for outflow of the gases from the arc extinguishing chamber, and a multilayer wire cloth or fabric having at least a first wire layer and a second wire layer.     Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a base, at least one fixed conductive sheet assembly, at least one movable conductive sheet assembly, at least one arc blow component, an electromagnet and an outer cap.     Abstract: The invention relates to a current breaker in which a busbar (18) passes through a cavity (25) in which a piston (14) can be moved. By moving the piston (14), a circuit board (19) is broken out of the busbar (18), thus interrupting the current flow. The current breaker has at least one metal filter element (16) which, according to the invention, extends up to the cavity (25). This ensures that the disconnected circuit board (19) touches the at least one filter element (16) during tripping. After the circuit board (19) is separated from the busbar (18), an electric arc is formed which, due to the filter element (16) being touched by the circuit board (19), switches over to the metal filter element (16) when the circuit board (19) continues to move, as a result of which the energy from the system inductance is converted into heat loss in the filter element (16). When suitably designed, there is only a moderate increase in pressure in the current breaker and thus practically no external effect. Additionally, an extinguishing agent, e.g. a silicone oil or a silicone-containing grease, may be provided. The housing can be sealed and the filter elements (16, 16′) can be insulated from the exterior.
