Said plasma can also be used in general for cleaning, coating, activating, and etching surfaces.

摘要： A remaining-battery-capacity estimating apparatus estimates the remaining capacity of a battery used as a backup. The apparatus reduces the voltage output from a rectifier to an actual load, measures current flowing from the rectifier and the battery to the actual load and a dummy load device provided separately from the actual load, controls the load of the dummy load device such that the measured current is a predetermined value, and calculates the remaining capacity of the battery based on the terminal voltage of the battery and the discharging time of discharging the battery to the actual load and the dummy load device, by referring to battery data indicating the relationship among the discharging time of the battery, the terminal voltage of the battery, and the remaining capacity of the battery, at a predetermined current of the battery.

摘要： A voltage regulation and battery charging system is provided. The system may include a switching regulator selection control circuit, two switching regulator controller circuits, two power transistors, a common synchronous transistor, and a common LC circuit. The two switching regulator controller circuits may synchronously switch the two power transistors and the one common synchronous transistor. One of the switching regulator controller circuits may receive a voltage from an AC adapter and the other may receive a voltage from a USB port. Further, the switching regulation selection control circuit selects which of the two switching regulator controller circuits controls the regulation of the system output voltage employing the common LC filter.

摘要： A method is provided for processing a workpiece in a plasma reactor chamber. The method includes coupling, to a plasma in the chamber, power of an RF frequency via a ceiling electrode and coupling, to the plasma, power of at least approximately the same RF frequency via a workpiece support electrode. The method also includes providing an edge ground return path. The method further includes adjusting the proportion between (a) current flow between said electrodes and (b) current flow to the edge ground return path from said electrodes, to control plasma ion density distribution uniformity over the workpiece.
