    Abstract: An electrochemical apparatus including: a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte, where the positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on the positive electrode current collector. The positive electrode active material layer includes a positive electrode active material, where the positive electrode active material includes lithium nickel cobalt manganate containing aluminum, zirconium, and tungsten. The electrolyte includes a dinitrile compound. The electrochemical apparatus according to this application has improved overcharge resistance and safety under high temperature and high pressure.
