    摘要: A cable connection structure includes a cable, a sheet-like wiring member, and a cable junction connector. The cable junction connector includes a first fitting and a second fitting. A connection portion of the first fitting and a connection portion of the second fitting interlock with each other in a state in which a part of a conductor formed on the sheet-like wiring member is sandwiched between a plate portion of the first fitting and a plate portion of the second fitting. The first fitting has an insulation-displacement contact which includes an open-ended slot. The cable is forced into the open-ended slot. A direction in which the cable is forced into the open-ended slot is perpendicular to a direction in which the cable extends and is parallel to a direction in which the part of the conductor is sandwiched between the plate portion of the first fitting and the plate portion of the second fitting.

    摘要: A connector assembly includes, a housing, a circuit board that includes a conductive front pad and a conductive rear pad electrically connected to the front pad, and a cable that includes an insulated conductor having a conductor surrounded by an insulating material. The conductor has a diameter not greater than 24 AWG. The uninsulated front end of the conductor is terminated at the rear pad and includes a preformed bend. The connector assembly also includes a recess formed in an external surface and on a lateral side of the housing. The recess is designed to receive and house a spring member of a pull tab that is assembled to the housing. The vertical separation between the recess and the circuit board is h, the average thickness of the cable is t, and h≥3t. The preformed bend may include first and second portions connected by a substantially flattened joint.

    摘要: A connector assembly of the present invention includes a first connector having a first electrical-connection member disposed on a flexible base member, and a second connector having a second electrical-connection member disposed on a flexible base member at a position opposite that of the first electrical-connection member. The second connector further includes a flexible cover section, a flexible coupling section, and a plurality of resin fasteners. The coupling section couples the base member of the second connector with the cover section. The resin fasteners are disposed at opposite positions respectively for the base member of the second connector and the cover section. The connector assembly has a structure in which the fasteners are engaged and the first electrical on member and the second electrical-connection member are connected, with the first connector being sandwiched by the base member of the second connector and the cover section.

    摘要: A compact, high performance electrical connector with a smooth insertion loss profile over a broad range of operating frequencies. The electrical connector has a mating interface with a slot that may receive a mating component, such as a paddle card of a plug connector. Rows of terminals line opposing sides of the slots. Terminals in each of the rows may be held together by an insulative seat body shaped to receive on side of a lossy member. The lossy member may have extension parts extending towards selected ones of the terminals in the rows that act as ground terminals, such that the lossy member is electrically coupled to the ground terminals and electrically isolated from the signal terminals. The connector, even though compact, may be easily assembly by first forming terminal subassemblies comprising two rows of terminals and lossy member, and then inserting the terminal subassemblies into an insulative body.

The plate (51) of the lever (50) includes an initial lock (54) to limit rotation of the lever (50) toward the connection position by being locked to the receptacle (22). The wall (33) includes unlocking portions (38) to push the initial locking portions (54) in an unlocking direction by contacting the female housing (10). The unlocking portion (38) is separated from surroundings by long narrow slits (39).
