摘要: A light-emitting diode (LED) luminaire comprises an emergency-operated portion comprising a battery, a self-diagnostic circuit comprising a test portion configured to auto-evaluate battery performance, a first controller, and a node modulator-demodulator (MODEM). The LED luminaire can auto-switch from a normal power to an emergency power according to availability of the normal power and whether a battery test is initiated. The first controller is configured to communicate between the test portion and the node MODEM, ensuring command data and test data respectively to be transferred to the self-diagnostic circuit and to a remote control unit that comprises a data-centric circuitry comprising a variety of data communication devices configured to initiate the command data with phase-shift keying (PSK) signals transmitted via a principal MODEM and to periodically collect the test data to and from the node MODEM. The test data assembled are ultimately transferred to a root server for further reviews.

摘要: A cloud connected lighting system may include a wireless lighting network of coordinated lighting devices and a bridge to provide connectivity to external devices such as a cell phone, home automation system or security system. The cloud connected lighting system may be implemented locally with a cell phone communicating with the bridge for control, status and alerts. The cloud connected lighting system may operate over the cloud via an Internet connection allowing the bridge to communicate with a server on the Internet that may implement software for the interface with the wireless lighting network and to capture data regarding activity detected by motion sensor associated with the wireless lighting network.

摘要: A secondary power system is configured to connect to a motor vehicle having a powertrain comprising an engine and a first alternator. The secondary power system includes a second alternator connected to the engine, one or more electro-chemical storage devices coupled to the second alternator and configured to be charged by the alternator, and one or more inverter chargers. The inverter chargers may operate in a first mode to provide AC power to loads on the vehicle or in a second mode to receive alternative power and charge the storage devices. In an embodiment, the secondary power system includes multiple storage devices each comprising at least one electro-chemical storage pack and a logic. The storage devices are interconnected by a junction box. The logics within each storage device may selectively disrupt power flow from the junction box upon detection of an error condition.

摘要: An emergency unit (1) is provided, comprising input terminals (I1, I2) for supplying the emergency unit (1) with AC power, a battery charging unit (40) designed for charging a battery unit (30) of the emergency unit (1) by using the AC power, a DC/DC converter (10), supplied by the battery unit (30) and designed to provide DC power to DC power output terminals (O1, O2) designed for supplying power to emergency lighting means (EL), a control unit (20) designed for being supplied with a signal indicating the state of the AC power and for outputting commands to the battery charging unit (40) and to the DC/DC converter (10). The control unit (20) can assume a state (S6) in which it causes the DC/DC converter (10) to provide DC power based on the battery unit and at the same time start the operation of the battery charging unit (40).

摘要: The subject disclosure relates to an emergency lighting system for simulating power failure in an emergency lighting system. In some aspects, the system includes an interrupt relay coupled between a first power supply and a lighting array, a power monitoring module coupled between a second power supply and the lighting array, and a wireless transceiver configured for transacting data with a wireless backhaul gateway. Additionally, the lighting system can include a microcontroller configured to perform operations for receiving an interrupt command from the wireless backhaul gateway, toggling the interrupt relay in response to the interrupt command, wherein toggling the interrupt relay terminates power delivery to the lighting array, and measuring one or more power characteristics of the second power supply to determine if the second power supply can power the lighting array. Methods and machine-readable media are also provided.
