    摘要: A system and method for generating a force from a voltage difference applied across at least one electrically conductive surface. The applied voltage difference creates an electric field resulting in an electrostatic pressure force acting on at least one surface of an object. Asymmetries in the resulting electrostatic pressure force vectors result in a net resulting electrostatic pressure force acting on the object. The magnitude of the net resulting electrostatic pressure force is a function of the geometry of the electrically conductive surfaces, the applied voltage, and the dielectric constant of any material present in the gap between electrodes. The invention may be produced on a nanoscale using nanostructures such as carbon nanotubes. The invention may be utilized to provide a motivating force to an object. A non-limiting use case example is the use of electrostatic pressure force apparatus as a thruster to propel a spacecraft through a vacuum.

The ESS includes a first energy storage unit and a second energy storage unit. The power conversion system is electrically coupled to the ESS for converting an input power to an output power. The AC traction system is electrically coupled to the power conversion system for converting the output power of the power conversion system to mechanical torques. The AC traction system includes a first AC drive device and a second AC drive device. An energy management system (EMS) is in electrical communication with the ESS, the AC traction system, and the power conversion system for providing control signals.

    摘要: This variable electric motor system comprises an electrically powered device and a planet gear transmission device. One of a sun gear shaft, a planet gear carrier shaft, and an internal gear carrier shaft of the planet gear transmission device constitutes an output shaft, another shaft constitutes a constant-speed input shaft, and the other shaft constitutes a variable-speed input shaft. The electrically powered device includes: a constant-speed electric motor including a constant-speed rotor that rotates about the axis, and that is connected to the constant-speed input shaft; and a variable-speed electric motor including a variable-speed rotor that rotates about the axis, and that is connected to the variable-speed input shaft. The variable-speed rotor has a shaft insertion hole formed therethrough in the axial direction, the shaft insertion hole having a cylindrical shape centered on the axis. The constant-speed rotor is inserted through the shaft insertion hole.

    摘要: In a rotating electrical machine, when a stator winding is wound in concentrated winding, an improvement in performance is achieved by reducing a magnetomotive force harmonic without reducing a fundamental wave magnetic flux generated by a stator. A rotating electrical machine (10) includes a rotor (18), and two stators (14, 16) opposed with the rotor (18) being interposed therebetween either on both sides of the rotor (18) in the axial direction or on both sides of the rotor (18) in the radial direction. Stator windings (22) provided in a plurality of portions in the circumferential direction of each stator (14, 16) are wound in concentrated winding. The directions of magnetic fluxes generated by stator windings (22) having the same phase in the stators (14, 16) are in mutually opposite directions with respect to either the axial direction or the radial direction. The stator windings (22) having the same phase in the stators (14, 16) are arranged to be shifted from each other by 180 degrees in electrical angle in the circumferential direction.
