    摘要: A power drive circuit includes a power conversion module, a plurality of gate drivers, a waveform processing unit, a control unit, a weighting unit, and a comparator. Each gate driver includes a drive resistance setting value. The waveform processing unit outputs a current absolute value waveform of an AC power. The weighting unit generates a trigger voltage. When the comparator determines that the current absolute value waveform is greater than the trigger voltage, the comparator outputs a slew rate control signal to each of the gate drivers. When the gate driver receives the slew rate control signal, each of the gate drivers decreases the drive resistance setting value of the gate driver.

    摘要: A sequential extraction control device for use in a 3-phase DC/AC converter. The 3-phase converter has three single-phase DC/AC converters, each controlled by a respective PWM extractor. Duty factor adjustments are made depending on a current portion of an AC power cycle. A sequential regulator causes the PWM extractors to have non-overlapping duty cycles such that extractions of each of the single-phase DC/AC converters is performed in sequence, rather than concurrently. This improves the efficiency in extracting power from the DC power.

    摘要: An alternating current (AC) inverter includes a converter circuit configured to convert a direct current (DC) voltage to an AC voltage, and output terminals, the converter circuit being configured to output the AC voltage to the output terminals. The AC inverter further includes a signal terminal configured to receive a signal from outside of the AC inverter, and a control circuit configured to detect an abnormality related to the AC inverter, control the converter circuit to stop conversion of the DC voltage to the AC voltage in response to detection of the abnormality, and control the converter circuit to resume conversion of DC voltage to the AC voltage in response to reception of the signal on the signal terminal.

    摘要: A snubber circuit for a switching converter. A power source has a first rail and a second rail. A snubber transformer has a primary winding and a secondary winding, a first end of each of the primary and secondary windings being coupled together to form a transformer common point and a second end of the primary winding being connected to a half-bridge switching converter. A first capacitor is connected between the first rail and the transformer common point. A second capacitor is connected between the second rail and the transformer common point. A first diode is connected between the secondary winding and the first rail. A second diode is connected between the secondary winding and the second rail. The snubber circuit suppresses voltage transients and recovers energy from said voltage transients. In one embodiment the switching converter is a half-bridge configuration with zero current switching in a multi-level topology.

    摘要: An auto-biasing virtual circuit mechanism for a bipolar transistor is independent of the biasing and the configuration of a signal waveform application circuit in which the transistor is installed. The virtual circuit comprises a plurality of AC signal coupling elements (capacitors) coupled in circuit between respective ones of a plurality of AC signal access terminals and respective ones of the base, collector and emitter electrodes of the transistor. Because of their frequency dependent impedance characteristics, each coupling capacitor effectively provides a short circuit coupling path for AC signals, while blocking or being an open circuit for DC bias inputs. Conversely, DC biasing is effected through large valued inductors, which provide short circuit coupling paths for DC bias inputs, while blocking or being open circuits for AC signal conditions. A controllable DC voltage bias source, which is coupled through an inductor to the emitter electrode of the transistor generates an output voltage corresponding to the difference between the collector voltage (Vc) and the required collector-emitter bias voltage (Vce) of the transistor, so that the effective differential voltage applied across the collector and emitter electrodes of the transistor is the desired value of Vce. The output terminal of a controllable collector current (Ic) current source is coupled directly to the collector electrode of the transistor.
