摘要: The present invention relates to a frequency generator arrangement having an oscillator for generating an oscillator signal having an oscillator frequency and an oscillator output for outputting the oscillator signal, the frequency generator arrangement further comprising a frequency multiplier coupled and/or connected to an oscillator output for generating an output signal of the frequency generator arrangement having a multiplier frequency corresponding to a multiple of the oscillator frequency, wherein the frequency multiplier comprises a frequency multiplier core directly causative of the frequency multiplication, the frequency multiplier core having a power supply, and the frequency generator arrangement having a control input for controlling the power supply to the frequency multiplier core, whereby an output power of the output signal is adjustable by controlling the power supply to the frequency multiplier core.

The transmitter transmits a control signal and one or more operation signals to the second wireless communication terminal. The control signal instructs to transmit a signal that requests terminal-to-terminal communication between a first wireless communication terminal and the second wireless communication terminal. The operation signals are used for operating at least a part of the first wireless communication terminal. The receiver is capable of receiving at least one of a response signal or a data signal transmitted from the first wireless communication terminal to the second wireless communication terminal after the operation signals are transmitted.

摘要: A wireless communication system includes a transmitter configured to transmit at least first and second radio waves having respective different frequencies F1 and F2, an electrically conductive first passive substantially linear medium, an electrically conductive first passive substantially nonlinear medium disposed proximate the first passive substantially linear medium, and a first magnetic film covering at least a portion of the first passive substantially linear medium. When the transmitter transmits the first and second radio waves, the first passive substantially linear and nonlinear media receive the first and second radio waves and generate first and second signals propagating therein at the respective frequencies F1 and F2. At least one intermodulation signal having a frequency F3 equal to nF1+mF2, where m and n positive or negative integers, is generated in the first passive substantially nonlinear medium. The first magnetic film reduces the at least one intermodulation signal by at least 2 dB.

摘要: An apparatus is described that, according to an exemplary embodiment, has an RF oscillator for generating an RF oscillator signal at a first frequency and a frequency divider having a division ratio that is fixed during operation. The frequency divider is supplied with the RF oscillator signal and is configured to provide an oscillator signal at a second frequency. The apparatus further has a monitor circuit, to which the oscillator signal at the second frequency is supplied and which is configured to measure the second frequency and to provide at least one digital value that is dependent on the second frequency of the oscillator signal. The at least one digital value is provided on a test contact.

摘要: A circuit includes an RF oscillator coupled in a phase-locked loop. The phase-locked loop is configured to receive a digital input signal, which is a sequence of digital words, and to generate a feedback signal for the RF oscillator based on the digital input signal. The circuit further includes a digital-to-analog conversion unit that includes a pre-processing stage configured to pre-process the sequence of digital words and a digital-to-analog-converter configured to convert the pre-processed sequence of digital words into the analog output signal. The circuit includes circuitry configured to combine the analog output signal and the feedback signal to generate a control signal for the RF oscillator. The pre-processing stage includes a word-length adaption unit configured to reduce the word-lengths of the digital words and a sigma-delta modulator coupled to the word-length adaption unit downstream thereof and configured to modulate the sequence of digital words having reduced word-lengths.

The complex digital offset includes an in-phase offset correction factor and a quadrature offset correction factor.
