Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to deactivate/activate a point-to-multipoint (PTM) link of a multicast radio bearer (MRB). The UE receives, from a base station of a wireless network, a multicast radio bearer (MRB) configuration, wherein the MRB includes configuration of a split MRB including a point to multipoint (PTM) link and a point to point (PTP) link, deactivates or activates the PTM link based on the MRB configuration, reestablishes a radio link control (RLC) associated with the PTM link and recovers a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP).

The techniques may include producing the second set of video streams from the first set of video streams, where each video stream of the second set of video streams is produced by changing a video stream of the first set of video streams according to the one or more video feed properties. Moreover, the techniques may include outputting one or more video streams of the second set of video streams.

Abstract: In aspects of modulation-based call exit management, a media device detects that a user desires to exit a conference call and determines whether a video feed of the conference call is active or inactive. Based on the video feed being active, the media device applies at least one of modulation or a depth effect to the pre-recorded audio message to generate a modified pre-recorded audio message. Based on the video feed being inactive, the media device records an audio message of the user reading the contextual transcript during the conference call to generate a recorded audio message and applies at least one of the modulation or the depth effect to the recorded audio message to generate a modified recorded audio message. The media device provides the modified pre-recorded audio message or the modified recorded audio message to a speaker that emits the provided audio message.

Abstract: The capture of video streams using follower devices is controlled by a leader device during a video conference. Multiple cameras located at a physical space and connected to the leader device within the physical space are identified. The multiple cameras are designated as follower devices for the video conference, in which the follower device designation enables the leader device to control the follower devices during the video conference. Each of the cameras is caused to determine and capture a select video stream depicting one or more conference participants within the physical space. At least some of the select video streams are used to represent the physical space within the video conference. The leader device and the follower devices are collectively represented as a single logical entity to the video conference.
