摘要: A technology is described for a repeater that is switchable between a duplex mode and a simplex mode. The repeater comprises a first antenna port coupled to a first antenna, a second antenna port coupled to a second antenna, and a third antenna port coupled to a third antenna. The repeater further comprises first direction amplification paths coupled between the first antenna port and the second antenna port and second direction amplification paths coupled between the first antenna port and one of the second antenna port and the third antenna port. A controller can switch the repeater between a duplex mode, to communicate a first-direction RF signal from the second antenna port and communicate a second-direction RF signal to the second antenna port, and a simplex mode, to communicate the first-direction RF signal from the second antenna port and communicate the second-direction RF signal to the third antenna port.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for one or more downlink reference signals periodically transmitted from a base station during a first time period. The UE may determine that the UE is to participate in a random access procedure with the base station during a random access occasion, while the UE is operating in a half-duplex communication mode. The UE may identify that a first downlink reference signal is scheduled during a second time period that includes at least one random access occasion that corresponds with a reference signal for which the UE is configured to monitor, where the second time period is a subset of the first time period. As such, the UE may refrain from monitoring for the downlink reference signal during the time period in favor or proceeding with the random access procedure.

摘要: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. In certain configurations, the UE receives, from a base station, a plurality of time division duplexing (TDD) configurations of time slots and symbols for a plurality of component carriers (CCs). The CCs include a first CC and a second CC. The UE determines, according to the TDD configurations, whether a collision exists between an uplink (UL) transmission on the first CC and a downlink (DL) reception on the second CC for each of the time slots and the symbols. The UE selects one of the UL transmission and the DL reception for one of more of the time slots and the symbols with the collision based on a plurality of priority rules.

Duplex-mode remediation may be implemented for various communication scenarios, such as for random access phase communications, for communications having different priorities, etc. A wireless communication station may implement one or more changes with respect to the full duplex operation of the wireless communication station based upon determining that an issue with respect to self-interference may be, or is being, experienced, such as to provide for a wireless communication station operating in an in-band full duplex mode to increase interference cancellation and/or to fall back to a sub-band full duplex mode or a half duplex mode, to provide for a wireless communication station operating in a sub-band full duplex mode to increase interference cancellation and/or to fall back to a half duplex mode.
