摘要: Provided are a method and device for encoding or decoding an image by using a block map. In the method and device for decoding an image according to an embodiment set forth herein, a bitstream of an encoded image is received, one or more blocks in a picture are determined using split information obtained from the bitstream, a block map indicating whether or not a previous block among the one or more blocks has been decoded is determined, a neighboring region which is available to be referred to for a current block to be decoded in a certain scan order among the one or more blocks is determined, and the current block is decoded based on the neighboring region which is available to be referred to.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an image encoding method includes selecting a motion reference block from an already-encoded pixel block. The method includes selecting an available block including different motion information from the motion reference block, and selecting a selection block from the available block. The method includes generating a predicted image of the encoding target block using motion information of the selection block. The method includes encoding a prediction error between the predicted image and an original image. The method includes encoding selection information identifying the selection block by referring to a code table decided according to a number of the available block.

摘要: A decoder receives, from a bitstream for a block vector (BV), an indication of a block vector predictor (BVP). The decoder determines a sign of a first component of a block vector difference (BVD) based on a component of the BV and a component of the BVP. The decoder decodes the BV based on the BVP and the BVD. The decoder generates an intra block compensated prediction of a current block (CB) based on the BV. The decoder decodes the CB based on the intra block compensated prediction and a residual of the CB.

摘要: An example method of video decoding includes receiving video data that includes a current block from a video bitstream. The method also includes generating a subblock-based motion vector prediction (SbTMVP) for a subblock of the current block and generating a SbTMVP-MMVD candidate by applying a merge motion vector difference (MMVD) to the SbTMVP. In accordance with a determination that a motion vector (MV) of the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate meets one or more criteria, the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate is inserted into a candidate list for the current block. In accordance with a determination that the MV of the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate does not meet the one or more criteria, the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate is not inserted into the candidate list for the current block. The method further includes reconstructing the current block using the candidate list.
