摘要: A method for processing a video signal using an affine motion prediction is disclosed. The method includes checking that a current block is encoded by the affine motion prediction, obtaining motion vectors for a plurality of control points of the current block, determining a motion vector for each of a plurality of subblocks included in the current block based on the motion vectors for the plurality of control points, and performing a prediction for the current block from the motion vector for each of the plurality of subblocks, wherein each of the plurality of subblocks is configured to have a pre-defined width and a pre-defined height.

摘要: There is provided a method of decoding video data from a bitstream, the bitstream comprising video data corresponding to one or more slices. The bitstream comprises a picture header comprising syntax elements to be used when decoding one or more slices, and a slice header comprising syntax elements to be used when decoding a slice, the decoding comprising: parsing the syntax elements. The method includes omitting parsing one or more syntax elements for a slice relating to use or availability of a decoding tool or parameter for that slice if one or more syntax elements are parsed that indicate that the picture contains only one slice; and decoding said bitstream using said syntax elements.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are provided to implement video coding system (VCS). The VCS may be configured to receive a video signal, which may include one or more layers (e.g., a base layer (BL) and/or one or more enhancement layers (ELs)). The VCS may be configured to process a BL picture into an inter-layer reference (ILR) picture, e.g., using picture level inter-layer prediction process. The VCS may be configured to select one or both of the processed ILR picture or an enhancement layer (EL) reference picture. The selected reference picture(s) may comprise one of the EL reference picture, or the ILR picture. The VCS may be configured to predict a current EL picture using one or more of the selected ILR picture or the EL reference picture. The VCS may be configured to store the processed ILR picture in an EL decoded picture buffer (DPB).

摘要: A method of decoding video data from a bitstream, the bitstream comprising video data corresponding to one or more slices. The bitstream comprises a picture header comprising syntax elements to be used when decoding one or more slices, and a slice header comprising syntax elements to be used when decoding a slice. In the picture header at least one syntax element indicating whether a decoding tool may be used in the picture. When the decoding tool is used in the picture, at least one APS ID related syntax element is parsed for the decoding tool in the picture header. The decoding also comprises parsing, in a slice header, at least one syntax element indicating whether the decoding tool is to be used or not for that slice prior to syntax elements relating to other decoding tools. A bitstream is decoded using said syntax elements.

In a representative aspect, a method for video processing includes generating, for a conversion between a current video block of a video including multiple video blocks and a bitstream representation of the video, a most probable mode (MPM) list for a matrix based intra prediction (MIP) tool based on a rule, where, the MIP tool includes determining, during the conversion, a prediction block of the current video block by performing, on previously coded samples of the video, a boundary downsampling operation, followed by a matrix vector multiplication operation, and selectively followed by an upsampling operation, and where the rule specifies a mapping between a number of MIP modes and dimensions of the multiple video blocks; and performing the conversion based on the generating.

摘要: A video processing method includes performing a conversion between a video block of a video and a coded representation of the video, wherein the coded representation conforms to a format rule, wherein the format rule specifies that applicability of a transform skip mode to the video block is determined by a coding condition of the video block, wherein the format rule specifies that a syntax element indicative of applicability of the transform skip mode is omitted from the coded representation, and wherein the transform skip mode includes, skipping applying a forward transform to at least some coefficients prior to encoding into the coded representation, or during decoding, skipping applying an inverse transform to at least some coefficients prior to decoding from the coded representation.

摘要: A method of video processing includes performing a conversion between a video unit of a video and a coded representation of the video using at least a video picture. Only one of a sub-picture coding mode or a resolution-changing coding mode is enabled for the video unit. The sub-picture coding mode is a mode in which the video picture is divided into multiple sub-pictures, and the resolution-changing coding mode is a mode in which a resolution of the video picture is adjusted during the conversion.
