The program and method provide for providing, in association with designing a room for virtual conferencing, an interface for setting properties of elements within a room; receiving, via the interface, an indication of first user input setting a property of an element within the room; providing, based on the first user input, a virtual conference between plural participants within the room, the room including the element; receiving, via the interface and during the virtual conference, an indication of second user input updating the property of the element within the room; and updating, based on the second user input and during the virtual conference, the property of the element.

First image data representing a first person and second image data representing a second person may be determined. A first priority level may be determined for the first person at a first time. A second priority level for the second person may be determined at the first time. The camera may be controlled to follow the first person based at least in part on the first priority level and the second priority level.

摘要: A system may transmit, from a first user device connected to a video conference and associated with a conference participant, an indication to a peripheral device to temporarily buffer a portion of media content of the video conference. The system may perform, within the video conference, a transition of the conference participant from the first user device to a second user device connected to the video conference including causing the peripheral device to relay the portion of the media content during the transition. In some implementations, the portion of the media content may be buffered by storing less than a predefined amount of time of the media content received by the first user device in a random access memory of the peripheral device.

Drop-in video sessions can be added directly to business websites (e.g., Live Office Hours), shared and accessed via a URL or activated from the SoHive app or website. The Drop-In-Video-as-a-Service (DIVaaS) system is distinctly designed to provide “drop-in” video sessions that do not require having a prior awareness of all participants (e.g., names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc.) or prompting the participants (e.g., emailing each participant prior to the video conference) in order to access the video communication session in a manner that supports spontaneous inclusion and collaboration globally.

摘要: Participant attendance is readily determined for remote conferences over a network via use of associated participant devices. Going beyond mere attendance, engagement of a participant is determined by observing their actions (e.g., gestures, head movement, eye position) and interactions (e.g., talking, text chat, etc.) within the conference. Such engagement is scored and the value of the score is then used to trigger engagement responses, such as reporting the score to a repository or stakeholder, or initiating a remediation action, such as addressing a network fault.

摘要: An electronic meeting tool and method for communicating arbitrary media content from users at a meeting includes a node configuration adapted to operate a display node of a communications network, the display node being coupled to a first display. The node configuration is adapted to receive user selected arbitrary media content and to control display of the user selected arbitrary media content on the first display. A peripheral device adapted to communicate the user selected arbitrary media content via the communications network is a connection unit including a connector adapted to couple to a port of a processing device having a second display, a memory and an operating system, and a transmitter. A program is adapted to obtain user selected arbitrary media content, the program leaving a zero footprint on termination. The user may trigger a transfer of the user selected arbitrary media content to the transmitter.
