摘要: An imagery processing system obtains capture inputs from capture devices that might have capture parameters and characteristics that differ from those of a main imagery capture device. By normalizing outputs of those capture devices, potentially arbitrary capture devices could be used for reconstructing portions of a scene captured by the main imagery capture device when reconstructing a plate of the scene to replace an object in the scene with what the object obscured in the scene. Reconstruction could be of one main image, a stereo pair of images, or some number, N, of images where N>2.

摘要: A display and a color correction method are disclosed. The display includes a panel and a backlight module. The color correction method includes steps of: (a) sensing a real-time backlight intensity of the backlight module; (b) increasing a backlight intensity of the backlight module when the real-time backlight intensity is different from a standard backlight intensity of the backlight module; (c) sensing a compensated backlight intensity of the backlight module and estimating a first real-time color information of the panel according to the compensated backlight intensity and a first panel color characteristic information, wherein the first panel color characteristic information corresponds to the penetration characteristics of the panel; and (d) estimating a first color gain compensation value for the panel according to the first real-time color information and compensating the colors displayed on the panel when the panel displaying an image according to the first color gain compensation value.

摘要: Method and apparatus for presenting audio and visual information to an audience by streaming, broadcast, live and recording presentations including a generally planar display screen, a light source directing light towards the display screen, a video camera oriented towards the display screen so as to image a lecturer through the display screen and a filter disposed between the display screen and the video camera. In one embodiment the light source emits light in predominately blue wavelengths and the filter blocks at least 85% of light at approximately the same wavelengths. Visual information may then be beneficially written by a lecturer on the display screen using a fluorescent marker pen. In operation an image output of the video camera is reversed in left-to-right orientation so that visual image information written by a lecturer onto the display screen is reversed from an orientation of this information viewed through the display screen.

The invention further relates to a method for operating such a display device and to an entertainment device comprising such a display device. The display device according to the invention comprises, in addition to the at least one display unit and the illumination device, at least one determination means for determining a color information from an image block of the at least one display unit, and further comprises a color control means for controlling the color and/or color spectrum of the light emitted by the illumination device as a function of the color information. The color information can be obtained from the light which is actually emitted by the display unit in said image block, for which a light detection device having an observation region that is limited to the image block can be provided.

摘要: An image processing apparatus including a wide-angle camera, an auxiliary camera, and a controller is provided. The wide-angle camera has a first Field Of View (FOV), and captures a first image of a first area of a scene. The auxiliary camera has a second FOV which is narrower than the first FOV, and captures a second image of a second area of the scene. In particular, the wide-angle camera and the auxiliary camera are disposed on the same surface of the image processing apparatus, and synchronized to capture the first image and the second image, respectively. The controller determines a portion of the first image, which corresponds to the second area of the scene, and superimposes the second image on the portion of the first image to generate an enhanced image.
