摘要: This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.

摘要: In one aspect, an example method includes (i) providing, by a playback device, replacement media content for display; (ii) determining, by the playback device, that a remote control transmitted to the playback device an instruction configured to cause a modification to operation of the playback device while the playback device displays the replacement media content; (iii) determining, by the playback device based on the instruction, an overlay that the playback device is configured to provide for display in conjunction with the modification; (iv) determining, by the playback device, a region within a display of the playback device corresponding to the overlay; and (v) modifying, by the playback device, a transparency of the region such that the overlay is visible through the replacement media content when the playback device provides the overlay for display.

摘要: A method for replaying route data with annotation for re-display comprises: recording a recorded-route-replay by a first user of a first automobile vehicle and saving the recorded-route-replay to a website; electing to trigger playback of the recorded-route-replay by a second user of a second automobile vehicle and entering a predetermined key word by the second user to trigger playback; contacting a website and downloading from the website GPS tagged pictures for a predetermined next trip travel distance of the second automobile vehicle; and retrieving one of the GPS tagged pictures when a GPS trigger location is reached during the trip of the second automobile vehicle and displaying the one of the GPS tagged pictures on an image screen of a head-up display of second automobile vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an image monitoring system including: a camera connected to a network; display means for displaying an image captured by the camera; and display control means for controlling display such that, in displaying images by the display means, an image is displayed in a window having a predetermined layout; wherein the display control means presets an allocation database containing a correlation between the window having a predetermined layout and a camera identification code and, when the camera is connected to the network, automatically sets a correlation between the camera identification code in the allocation database and the camera, thereby controlling image display into the window on the basis of the allocation database.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium display a video with a set of tags selectively overlaid on the video. The method causes a display device to display a sequence of video frames. The video depicts a plurality of visually perceptible items, and the video frames as displayed do not include any tags, thereby depicting the video in a tagless mode. The method also receives a signal requesting that the video be displayed in a tag mode. In response to receipt of said signal, the method overlays one or more visually perceptible tags on the video frames at specified positions, thereby causing the display device to display the video in a tag mode. Each of the overlaid tags is associated with at least one respective visually perceptible item appearing in the video.

A packet in which a document of the text information of the subtitle having display timing information is included in a payload is generated and transmitted in synchronization with a sample period. A header of the packet includes a time stamp on a first time axis indicating a start time of the corresponding sample period. The payload of the packet further includes reference time information of a second time axis regarding the display timing associated with the start time of the corresponding sample period.-

摘要: Methods and systems for managing content items are described. A content item may be separated into components, such as chroma components, luminance components, and audio components. For more efficient management of the content, including for storage and delivery of the content, the separate components may be stored at different locations. For example, chroma components may be stored on a central server, while luminance and audio components are stored at other locations, such as edge servers, or vice versa, to accommodate network efficiency considerations. When content is delivered to a player, two or more separate streams carrying different content components may be delivered to the player.
