摘要: Methods and systems are provided for signal offloading in an mmWave environment in the event of high fading. The methods and systems include one or more mmWave nodes that are each configured to wirelessly communicate with a user device in a geographic service area and a Wi-Fi access point configured to wirelessly communicate with the user device. The methods and systems determine that the user device has detected a fading measurement corresponding to an mmWave transmitted by one of the one or more mmWave nodes is above a threshold. In response to the fading measurement being above the threshold, the methods and systems redirect a control signal of the user device through the Wi-Fi access point to the one or more mmWave nodes. Accordingly, the user device transmit data through the Wi-Fi access point to the one or more mmWave nodes.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a communication method. The method includes acquiring route information of a route, which includes a destination; determining a first resource scheduling for a communication connection of a mobile device based on the route information of the route; determining whether the communication connection of the mobile device based on the first resource schedule requires more resources than a second alternative resource scheduling; and if so, using the second alternative resource scheduling for the communication connection of the mobile device.

摘要: Disclosed are a method for modification in dual-connection mode and a device, for use in solving the problem that the communication performance of a terminal is easily reduced after establishment or modification in the current dual-connection architecture. The method for modification in dual-connection mode provided in the present application comprises: an MN determines an SN for flow transfer, the MN sending to the SN a transfer instruction carrying the indication information of the PDU session to which the flow belongs, so that the SN determines, according to the received transfer instruction, whether to receive the flow transferred by the MN, wherein the indication information of the PDU session is used for indicating whether the MN transfers part or all of the flow under a PDU session. The method effectively improves the communication performance of a terminal in a communication process.

摘要: In order to maintain performance during wireless communication, a transmitting electronic device may concurrently and independently communicate redundant information to a receiving electronic device. In particular, information associated with a data stream may be communicated to the receiving electronic device using one or more channels by two radios using one or more wireless local area network communication protocols. The packets transmitted by the radios may preferentially include the same information. Moreover, the transmitting electronic device may attempt to maintain the redundant communication if a performance metric associated with the one or more channels degrades. For example, the transmitting electronic device may transfer communication to a different channel or may compress the information in the packets in the one or more channels if the throughput drops below a threshold value. Furthermore, the concurrent communication may allow the transmitting electronic device determine link quality without disrupting the communication of the information.

摘要: In a radio access network wherein a protocol stack is split between anchor processor circuitry and distributed processor circuitry. The anchor processor circuitry is configured to perform high layer radio access network node operations for a connection with a wireless terminal. The distributed processor circuitry is configured to perform low layer radio access network node operations for the connection with the wireless terminal and to utilize the context as used by the anchor processor circuitry. The anchor processor circuitry is configured to provide a first endpoint for a tunnel through which the connection is carried over a packet network to the distributed processor circuitry; the distributed processor circuitry is configured to provide a second endpoint for the tunnel. Transceiver circuitry transmits and receives packets comprising the connection over a radio interface with the wireless terminal.
