Abstract: A system for predicting a particular intended action of a guest on a resort property is provided, the system including a server configured to connected to and to receive data from a mobile device of the guest or via camera images of the guest; a plurality of interaction devices, each of the interaction devices being configured to connect to the mobile device when the guest is within a particular distance of a respective interaction device and/or capture digital images of the guest, wherein the server is configured to obtain guest information from the respective interaction device; and a processor configured, based on the guest information, to make a prediction of the guest's intended action or destination; and to initiate a business workflow within the resort property based upon the prediction of that guest's intended action or destination.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves, systems, software, and computer-implemented methods for determining a location for a curbside branch. One example system comprises a memory storing instructions; at least one hardware processor interoperably coupled with the memory, wherein the instructions instruct the at least one hardware processor to: obtain historical and current exchange data of users associated with a particular location; obtain external data about the particular location; enrich the historical and current exchange data with the external data; identify one or more analysis rules to apply to the enriched data to determine an estimated demand for services associated with deployment of a mobile site at the particular location; compare estimated demand to a predetermined threshold; and in response to a determination that the estimated demand exceeds the predetermined threshold, identify the particular location for mobile site deployment.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system and method of regulating mobile device communications while operating a motor vehicle. One example method may include determining a speed event indicating that a speed of the motor vehicle has performed at least one of exceeded a first threshold above which mobile device usage restriction policies are invoked and fallen below a second threshold allowing the mobile device restriction policies to be removed. The first threshold may be equal to or greater than the second threshold. As a result of obtaining the speed event, the method may also provide transmitting the speed event to a remote edge gateway server located remotely from the motor vehicle, which stores the speed event for reference purposes when determining a policy for routing a particular mobile device call, text message and/or mobile data session.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a location determination system that includes acoustic transmitting devices, location tags, and a wireless mesh network, where the wireless mesh network uses battery-powered devices. A location tag receives acoustic signals (e.g., ultrasound signals) from an acoustic transmitting device. Clocks from members of the wireless mesh network are synchronized by observation of clock pairings, each clock pair formed by respective clocks in a transmitting device that transmits a message and a receiving device that receives the message. By analyzing the observed clock pairings, a best fit between the clock pairings may be determined. After selecting a reference clock, an acoustic transmission schedule may be propagated to the respective acoustic transmitting device.
