Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to authenticating devices to a cellular network. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising reading a mobile identifier from a storage area of a memory device, the mobile identifier comprising a value associated with a subscriber of a cellular network; signing the mobile identifier using a private key to generate a digital signature, the private key generated using a physically unclonable function (PUF); transmitting the digital signature and a public key to a cellular network, the public key associated with the private key; and receiving, from the cellular network, a confirmation of access to the cellular network, the confirmation generated based on the public key and the digital signature.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for a mobile device to detect, by a camera of the mobile device, a plurality of checks; determine, by a processing unit of the mobile device, that the image of the plurality of checks is of sufficient quality; instruct, by a display of the mobile device, a user to take a photograph of the plurality of checks; crop, by the processing unit, the photograph of the plurality of checks into a plurality of images, wherein each of the plurality of images contains one of the plurality of checks; and transmit, by a transmitter of the mobile device, the plurality of images to a server via a network. The plurality of images may be transmitted individually (i.e., one at time), or alternatively, collectively and in one payload.

In addition, the non-connected state measurement configuration information may include inter-frequency measurement configuration information, thereby achieving an inter-frequency measurement and saving resources of the user-side device during the measurement.

Abstract: New radio download numerology allocation information may be obtained through master information block data, system information block data, radio resource control signals, or signals or a physical downlink numerology indication channel, and used along with a reference signal detected in a search space to obtain resource element positions in an antenna port reference signal in a resource block that belongs to a particular band slice according to a reference signal allocation scheme for a band slice numerology. A physical download control may then be decoded based upon one or more resource elements of the reference signal, allowing the connection of, e.g., an enhanced mobile broadband, massive machine type communication, or ultra-reliable/low-latency application to a communications network thereby. Alternatively, multiple physical downlink control channels may be blindly demodulated at each of a number calculated reference signal locations, and one channel selected based on passing a cyclic redundancy check.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for associating a wireless communication device such as a wireless station (STA) of a STA multi-link device (MLD) with an access point (AP) MLD that includes a first AP associated with a first communication link of the AP MLD and includes one or more secondary APs associated with one or more respective secondary communication links of the first AP MLD. The first AP includes one or more virtual APs, and the first AP and the one or more virtual APs of the first AP belong to a first multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set associated with the first communication link. The AP MLD transmits a frame including a first element carrying discovery information for the first AP and the one or more virtual APs belonging to the first multiple BSSID set, and including a second element carrying discovery information for the one or more secondary APs of the first AP MLD associated with the one or more respective secondary communication links of the first AP MLD.

Abstract: A terminal apparatus includes circuitry and a transmitter. The circuitry, in operation, generates a reference signal using a cyclic shift value and an orthogonal sequence, which are associated with each other. The orthogonal sequence is one of two orthogonal sequences corresponding to a first orthogonal sequence [1, 1] and a second orthogonal sequence [1, −1]. The cyclic shift value is one of 12 cyclic shift values ranging from 0 to 11. The transmitter, in operation, transmits the reference signal multiplexed with a data signal. Two of the cyclic shift values having a difference of 6 are respectively associated with the two orthogonal sequences.

Abstract: A subscriber identity module (SIM). The SIM comprises a processor, a non-transitory memory storing a configuration file, a wireless identity, a wireless access key, and a remote update agent stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor, the remote update agent determines that the SIM is communicatively coupled to a wireless communication network via a radio transceiver of a communication device with which the SIM is associated, in response to determining that the SIM is communicatively coupled to the wireless communication network, sends a provide local information (PLI) command to the mobile communication device to acquire network measurement results (NMR) based on the configuration file, transmits NMR data via the radio transceiver using a bearer independent protocol (BIP), receives SIM update information via the radio transceiver, and stores the SIM update information in the configuration file in the non-transitory memory.

Abstract: A communication technique that combines a 5G communication system for supporting a data rate that is higher than that of a beyond 4G system with IoT technology, and a system thereof are provided. The technique may be applied to intelligent services on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail, etc. A method of performing access deregistration by a user equipment (UE) and an apparatus therefor are provided. The method includes, when the UE is registered on both 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access and non-3GPP access, transmitting, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), a deregistration request message to deregister the non-3GPP access over the 3GPP access, and receiving, from the AMF, a deregistration accept message corresponding to the deregistration request message over the 3GPP access.
