Abstract: The panel (10) of the invention comprises at least one display window (13) produced in a cover sheet (11) for displaying illustrations and/or text or for concealing the latter. The panel comprises a mounting sheet (12) placed immediately behind the cover sheet (11), a booklet (2) is attached onto the mounting sheet (12) that is in communication with said window (13) and smaller in size than the window, making it possible to be leafed through via the latter, and a sliding shutter (3) is placed between the mounting sheet (12) and the cover sheet (11) so as to close, in a blocking position, the window and to hide said booklet, the sliding shutter (3) being guided into parallel guide rails (4) located between the cover sheet (11) and the mounting sheet (12) and directly adjacent to two opposite sides of the window (13). The invention can be used in particular for producing books formed by assembling a plurality of panels.
