Abstract: A connector assembly (100) for mating with a conductive plate (104, 118), wherein the plate formed with a plate mounting edge and first and second surfaces extending from the plate mounting edge, includes an alignment housing (120) for mounting to the plate at the plate mounting edge. The alignment housing defines a receiving chamber (126) therein. The connector assembly also includes a plug housing (122) having a contact (124) held therein. The plug housing is received within the receiving chamber such that the contact slidably engages the first surface and the second surface of the plate.
