Abstract: Arrangement for an electrical connector The invention relates to an arrangement (14) for or in an electrical connector (20). An object of the invention is to provide an arrangement for an electrical connector in which manual assembly is possible. According to the invention, this is achieved by an arrangement (14) for or in an electrical connector (20), comprising two connector portions (8) which can be folded relative to each other and of which one is provided with an insulation displacement contact (6) and the other with a cable pressing face which faces the insulation displacement contact (6), and having a fitting sleeve (1) for fitting over the two connector portions (8) in a fitting direction (A), outer faces (12) of the connector portions (8) and/or inner faces (5) of the fitting sleeve (1) extending towards each other counter to the fitting direction (A).
