A system is described for processing biomass through a pyrolysis chamber that utilizes revolving polygon platforms, a conveyor system, and an airlock for introducing or removing biomass into the pyrolysis chamber. Biomass can be introduced via a first revolving polygon platform, and biochar resulting from pyrolysis can be removed via a second revolving polygon platform.

The external conveyor supplying the trays coming from the filling machine is connected to a conveyor (1) formed of parallel straps or belts (101), which has a greater length than the length of the group of trays of larger dimensions to be grouped together and which is provided in the end part with components inserted between the belts (101), a comb lifter (9) of a length correlated with the length of said tray group to be formed, connected to lifting and lowering means with suitable acceleration and deceleration ramps. Upstream of the lifter (9), sensors (16) are provided which detect the position in space of the trays arriving from the external conveyor in succession, and a processing and control unit (12) is provided to process the information arriving from said sensors (16).

On the top surface (3), a receiving provision is provided for coupling a mounting frame. The receiving provision is provided with one or more stop elements projecting relative to the top surface, with each stop element provided with a flange. The mounting frame is provided with one or more wings, with each wing configured to engage under a respective flange upon placement of the mounting frame on the receiving provision. The receiving provision and the mounting frame are configured for placement of the mounting frame on the module and removal from the module, respectively, in an insertion direction which is directed substantially transversely to the directions.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stauförderer, insbesondere zur Verwendung in der Kfz-Industrie, zum Beispiel zum Fördern von Kraftfahrzeugteilen auf Paletten. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Stauförderer (1) ist es möglich, beliebige Paletten (17, 18) an dem Obertrum (2) manuell zu stoppen, um an ihnen Manipulationen durchzuführen, beispielsweise um Teile zu entnehmen oder besser zu positionieren oder zu beladen, ohne dass der Antriebsmotor (5) für den Antrieb eines flexiblen Zugelementes (6) stillgesetzt zu werden braucht.

An induction subsystem for a conveying system includes a plurality of induction conveying units that are controlled by a plurality of controls in a manner that delivers articles to a release conveyor with gaps between the articles that approach a desired length. The conveying units may be controlled using algorithms that examine a planned release time for an article and a time at which the article would be released were it to complete the rest of its travel through the induction subsystem at one or more nominal speeds. The difference is used to determine an appropriate speed for at least one of the conveying units. The conveying unit may alternatively be controlled using algorithms that determine desired speed ratios for the conveying units, and which may seek to control the centerline to centerline spacing of articles as they reach the release point such that desired gaps are created.

Method and sorting deck for paper, board, or pulp rolls, which comprises a plane (1) for transporting the rolls and controllable stops (2) for holding the rolls in place on the plane (1) and releasing them to travel over the plane (1). The stops (2) are positioned to form at least one line (3) of stops, in which the stops (2) are placed consecutively in the longitudinal direction (4) of the plane (1), and at least one row (5) of stops, in which the stops (2) are positioned adjacently to each other along the lateral direction (6) of the plane (1). According to the invention, at least some of the stops (2) comprises a collector (41) and a feeder (42), both of which can be moved freely between the hold and release positions, so that the travel of the rolls over the stop (2) can be optionally prevented, freely permitted, or permitted one roll at a time. With the aid of the invention, the same sorting deck can be used to handle rolls of different widths.
