The present application provides an aqueous emulsion polymer free of ethyl acrylate comprising (a) monomers (i) methyl acrylate, (ii) butyl acrylate and (iii) methacrylic acid; (b) crosslinker and (c) at least one surfactant. The present invention also provides the use of such emulsion polymers along with acid, cationic polymer, oil and other additives as low pH rheology modifiers and suspending aids for surfactant based micelle technology, emulsions and complex fluids in personal care, home care and industrial applications.

What is described herein is a stable and reduced-yellowing/non-yellowing synergistic preservative composition comprising: (i) about 0.1 wt. % to about 40 wt. % of dehydroacetic acid (DHA); and about 0.1 wt. % to about 99.9 wt. % of at least one aprotic solvent. Also described herein are aqueous and non-aqueous based preservative compositions for various end-user applications, and processes for preparing and using such compositions to reduce yellowing of DHA when added to the end-user applications.

The invention relates to a process for making e-Beam curable pressure sensitive adhesive compositions by derivatizing an acrylic polymer having one or more hydroxy groups or one or more acid groups with a derivatizing agent prepared from a hydroxy-functional acrylate monomer and a diisocyanate. The pressure sensitive adhesive can be effectively cured without a photoinitiator or reactive diluent. Also disclosed are e-Beam curable pressure sensitive adhesives made with the derivatizing agent and methods for adhering substrates with the pressure sensitive adhesive compositions.

The invention relates to a composition for making flooring material comprising resin and particles comprising ammonium quaternary salt. The resin is generally an unsaturated polyester resin. The flooring materials, or engineered stone slabs from which the flooring materials or other material can be formed, are generally made from combining the resin, particles, inorganic particulate material and an initiator and allowing the resin to cure. The flooring material composition may be cobalt free. Metal catalysts may be used to cure the resin.
