    Abstract: Various aspects described herein relate to techniques for managing measurement reports and handover procedures in wireless communications. In an aspect, the method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a network entity, a message including information of single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) capability of the network entity, storing, by the UE, the information of the SRVCC capability of the network entity, receiving, by the UE from the network entity, a request for a measurement report. The method further includes determining, by the UE and in response to receiving the request, whether an SRVCC is supported by the network entity based on the stored information, and transmitting, by the UE to the network entity, the measurement report in response to a determination that the SRVCC is supported by the network entity.

    Abstract: The apparatus of wireless communication includes UE and LTE cells that may block a handover from the LTE cell to a 5G NR Cell while an IMS call service is provided via the LTE cell. The UE may block the handover process to the 5G NR cell by blocking a transmission of a measurement report of neighboring cells to the LTE cell or filtering out the measurements of neighboring 5G NR cells in the measurement report of the neighboring cells. The LTE cell may block the initiation of the handover process to the 5G NR cell by excluding a measurement control to trigger a handover to the 5G NR cell in an instruction to modify the RRC connection, or ignoring the handover to the 5G NR cell indicated in the measurement report received from the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a connection with a first radio access network (RAN) (e.g., a shared RAN), where the first RAN may be associated with a first operator and a second operator. The UE may transmit, to the first RAN, a request to setup an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) call, and receive a radio resource control (RRC) release message during an IMS call setup procedure. The RRC release message may indicate a set of RANs, where each RAN of the set of RANs is assigned a priority. The UE may re-assign one or more of the assigned priorities associated with one or more RANs and the UE may establish a connection with a second RAN based on the re-assigned one or more priorities. Upon establishing a connection with the second RAN, the UE may perform the IMS call.
