The invention relates to a method for processing a continuously cast metal slab or strip, in which the slab or strip is passed between a set of rotating rolls of a rolling mill stand in order to roll the slab or strip. According to the invention, the rolls of the rolling mill stand have different peripheral velocities, and the difference in peripheral velocity is at least 5% and at most 100%, and the thickness of the slab or strip is reduced by at most 15% for each pass. The invention also relates to metal plate or strip produced using this method.
Abstract:
A kind of composite metal coil or sheet is comprised of a substrate material and at least an overlying layer, and an intermediate layer between the substrate and the overlying layer. The intermediate layer is made of atoms of brazing metal, substrate and the overlying layer. The thickness of the intermediate layer is about 2-10 microns. The present invention also involves a manufacturing method for the composite metal coils or sheets, the steps of the method is comprised of pre-compositing the base metal strip coil of sheet and the composite metal strip coil of sheet with brazing foil in inactive gas or reducing atmosphere at 850-1000 DEG C, hot-rolling and compositing in inactive gas or reducing atmosphere at 900-1050 DEG C, then cooling, and the metal composite sheet will be obtained.

본 발명은 티타늄 모재; 및 상기 순티타늄 모재 표면에 구비된 산소부화층;을 포함하고, 상기 순티타늄 모재의 중심부는 주조조직 또는 단조조직으로 이루어지고,상기 산소부화층을 포함한 모재 표면으로부터 두께방향으로 5~10㎜ 이내의 표층부는 평균 결정립 크기가 10~500㎛ 이고 구형(spherical)의 재결정 조직으로 이루어지며, 상기 산소부화층의 최대 두께가 1㎜ 이하(0㎜ 포함)인 티타늄 슬라브 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다.

An apparatus, material and method for forming a brazing sheet has a high strength core bonded with corrosion protection layer on the coolant side and/or layers on both airside and coolant side. The material enables heat exchanger components, such as tube, header, plate, etc., for applications, such as automotive heat exchangers, that require high fatigue life as well as high service life in a corrosive environment.
