An apparatus includes an energy storage system electrically connected across a bus, the energy storage system comprising: a first energy storage element, and a second energy storage element electrically connected to the first energy storage element at an energy node that is between the first energy storage element and the second energy storage element; and an energy filter system electrically connected to the energy node. The energy filter system is configured to electrically connect to one phase of a multi-phase alternating current (AC) power system.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a constant on-time isolated converter comprising a transformer with a primary side and a secondary side. The primary side is connected to an electronic switch and secondary-side is connected to a load and a processor. The processor is connected to a driver on primary side through at least one coupling element and to the electronic switch. The processor receives an output voltage or an output current across the load generating a control signal accordingly. The driver receives the control signal through the coupling element and accordingly changes the ON/OFF state of the electronic switch, regulating the output voltage and the output current via the transformer, where the duration of the ON/OFF state of the electronic switch is determined between the moment control signal changes from negative to positive and the moment it changes from positive to negative to achieve a high-speed load transient response.

This invention is concerning a power supply device(1a, 1b) that includes a cut-off unit(S1, S2) configured to cut off voltage to be applied to a primary winding of a transformer(T1) and a coil(L1) added in series with the primary winding of the transformer(T1), a first circuit(D1) configured to cause, in a case where the voltage to be applied is cut off by the cut-off unit(S1, S2), current to flow in such a way that energy accumulated in the transformer(T1) is led to a capacitor(C1), and a second circuit(D2) configured to clamp, in a case where the voltage to be applied is cut off by the cut-off unit(S1, S2), voltage of the primary winding and the coil(L1).
