The present invention relates to a soft capsule composition comprising a film-forming agent in the form of a water-soluble cellulose ether, a gelling agent in the form of iota carrageenan, an auxiliary gelling agent in the form of an organic-based calcium salt, a plasticizer in the form of glycerol, a disintegration-promoting agent in the form of silicon dioxide and distilled water. According to the present invention, when a soft capsule is to be moulded, energy is reduced as the gelling temperature of a film solution is lowered, and it is possible to perform moulding work over a long time as a resilient wet film can be produced even if the film solution is stored over a long time. Consequently, the moulding workability of the soft capsule is improved. Also, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a soft capsule having outstanding disintegrability despite also having outstanding resilience.

En la presente invención se han desarrollado nuevas composiciones farmacéuticas para el tratamiento de pacientes con hipertensión, empleando como principios activos al bloqueador de los receptores tipo 1 de angiotensina II de segunda generación Eprosartán, combinado con el calcio antagonista de tercera generación Lercanidipino. Estos activos, Eprosartán y Lercanidipino, como monofármacos, han mostrado tener una mayor eficacia y menores efectos adversos y una mayor tolerancia, que otros hipertensivos disponibles comercialmente. La combinación se ha desarrollado en forma de tabletas de liberación inmediata y de liberación prolongada, así como polvo para suspensión composición que resulta útil en ciertos estados de los pacientes en los que su estado físico no les permite la ingestión de tabletas o capsulas y también se ha desarrollado una composición inyectable intravenosa para los casos en donde se requiere una biodisponibilidad inmediata.
