Abstract:
A load-bearing system having a web (12) of sufficient strength to support predetermined loads suspended from the web, and an array of apertures (16) in the web. The apertures are elongate slots (16) and the array is such that the slots form plural pairs of slots (16a, 16b) defining respective positions at each of which a pouch (22) may be attached to the web (12) by attachment means (28) that forms a closed loop through the respective pair of slots.
Abstract:
The inventive vest is used for bearing a tactical and march load of servicepersons, including equipment for a mobile multifunction information system, and for protecting a serviceman against projectiles and bullets. The inventive vest is provided with breast and back sections which are connected to each other by belt-buckle means. The breast section is provided with several ranges of transversal straps, which are embodied in such a way, that detachable pockets are fixable thereto. Each pocket is provided with transversal straps on the back wall thereof and with at least one rigid belt connected thereto. Said straps are stitched at an equal path which is selected according to the sum of the length and thickness of said belt in such a way that it is tightly inserted into formed strap loops, the distance between the straps is approximately equal to the width thereof. Said breast and/or back sections are provided with splinter-proof and/or bullet-proof shielding inserts. The back section can be embodied in the form of an equipment cover, haversack or a knapsack or on the different combinations thereof. The inventive vest ensures the multifunctionality thereof, the comfort and protection of a serviceman.
Abstract:
A garment (10) including an adjustable weight support mechanism (76) used to shift the weight and position of objects contained within a storage pouch (38) on the garment (10) is provided. The support mechanism (76) is attached to the garment (10) and includes a pair of strap assemblies (77) which extend from the shoulders (26) of the garment (10) downwardly towards the bottom of front (12) and rear (14) panels forming the garment (10). The first strap (78) of each assembly (77) is connected between the shoulder (26) of the garment (10) and the front panel (12). The second strap (84) is connected between the rear panel (14) and the first strap (78), and is adjustable in length. When the second strap (84) is pulled to shorten the length of the second strap (84), the second strap (84) pulls the first strap (78) downwardly and forwardly to pull the shoulders (26) and rear panel (14) of the garment (10) upwardly and move the weight contained in the storage pouch (38) upwardly onto the shoulders (26) of the wearer of the garment (10).

Abstract:
An interchangeable cumberbund with integrated wiring to allow for connecting a variety of electronic devices for an intended purpose or mission and exchanging a configured garment for another. The reconfigurable cumberbund allows for multiple quick-disconnect cable harnesses to be weaved into the cumberbund which enables rapid and convenient removal of hardware that incorporates all I/O to a computer. The reconfigurable cumberbund connected to a wearable tactical vest containing a mobile ultra-rugged personal computer is the essential combination that allows hands-free use by the user.
Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains generally to exercise clothing, and more specifically, to weighted exercise pants. A weighted exercise pants system is disclosed employing weighted leg panels joined by a stretch fabric central expansion section. The weight pocket systems employ a plurality of weight sleeves capable of removably receiving one or more weights. The weighted exercise pants of the present disclosure can be used for strengthening muscles in a manner specific to the way the muscles are used in a particular sport, for other types of exercise, or for strength development, speed training, over-speed training and plyometric training.

Abstract:
Support assemblies releasably extending between a ballistic vest and a waist encircling belt transfer the loads from the vest to the belt relieving the stress on the wearer's shoulders and spine. Each support assembly has a stiff carbon fiber bar enclosed within webbing which is attached to a side section of the vest such as by a cord extending through aligned loops, and is attached to the belt such as by a stiffened belt mount with a side release buckle assembly. Alternatively, plastic shelves mounted to the belt can support the weight of the vest.
Abstract:
A pocket system for an athletic garment according to embodiments of the present invention includes a center pocket and first and second pockets each having an outer, inner, top, and bottom edge. The top edges are open, while the inner, outer, and bottom edges are closed. A vertical centerline of the garment substantially aligns with a user's spine, and the first pocket is located on the athletic garment on one side of the vertical centerline, while the second pocket is located on the garment on the other side of the vertical centerline. The first and second pockets are in a substantially symmetrical configuration about the vertical centerline, and the center pocket is substantially centered on the vertical centerline. The first, second, and center pockets are disposed entirely within a larger, outer pocket, according to such embodiments of the present invention.
