Apparatuses and methods for a wireless communication device having a first Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) and a second SIM to manage communication via the first SIM and the second SIM are disclosed. The method can include, but is not limited to, sending a first message including an indication of an extended signaling capability, receiving a second message including an inquiry regarding the extended signaling capability, and sending a third message including extended capability information, responsive to receiving the second message.

The invention relates to a method for operating a first access node (100) of a first cellular network in which a first user entity (200) uses a first access technology with at least one first carrier frequency to access a first cell (110) of the first cellular network, the at least one first carrier frequency having a bandwidth. It comprises: -determining that a second user entity (400) or a second access node (300) using a second access technology different from the first access technology may operate in the first cell (110) within the bandwidth of the at least one first carrier frequency in order to access a second cellular network, -transmitting information to the first user entity (200) by which the first user entity is informed about the fact that the second user entity (400) or second access node may operate in the first cell within the bandwidth of the at least one first carrier frequency using the second access technology.

A method for use in categorizing and processing in-bound communications on a client computing device is provided. The method may include selecting a mode from a plurality of modes, the selected mode being switchable with other modes of the plurality of modes based on one or more context parameters, determining a priority list for a plurality of contact types based on the selected mode, receiving a plurality of in-bound communications, determining a contact type of the plurality of contact types for each in-bound communication of the plurality of the in-bound communications based on contact data for each in-bound communication, and presenting a separate notification for each contact type based on the determined priority list, each notification including a summary of received in-bound communications for that contact type.

The method may include establishing, at a first access terminal, a wireless link with an access point, receiving network configuration data from the access point, composing a network feedback expression that indicates a status or availability of at least one network service associated with the access point, and transmitting the network feedback expression to a second access terminal via a D2D link.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses methods and systems for selecting at least one SIM card for data communication at a wireless communication device which is capable of housing a plurality of SIM cards. When a switching condition is satisfied, the wireless communication device selects a second SIM card group, and disconnects one or more connections established using any non-second group SIM card. Non-second group SIM cards are SIM cards that are not in the second SIM card group. A selected SIM card from the second SIM card group is then used for data communications. The steps are repeated until (i) the switching condition is no longer satisfied, (ii) no more SIM cards selected from the second SIM card group can be used for data communications or (iii) no more connection is made using non-second group SIM cards.
