Abstract:
An article of apparel (100) includes a waistband (111) for extending around a waist of the wearer (10). The waistband has a first layer (131) and a second layer (132) that lie adjacent to each other, and the waistband has a plurality of strand segments (114) located between the first layer and the second layer. The strand segments extend at least partially around the waistband. Additionally, the strand segments lie substantially parallel to surfaces of the first layer and the second layer for distances of at least five centimeters and are bonded to the first layer and the second layer along the distances of at least five centimeters.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A shower shirt has waterproof seals at its neck opening, arm openings and shirt bottom to prevent water from contacting a person's body that is enclosed by the shirt. The shower shirt also has one or more pockets sized to support post surgical devices associated with the patient such as drain tubes and bulbs. The shower shirt can also include baffles to provide additional lateral breast support to the patient.
Abstract:
A swim suit (1) for competition swimming comprises an outer shell (2) suitable to cover at least part of the body trunk and of the legs of a swimmer, wherein the outer shell (2) is made of a single continuous panel (3) of elastically stretchable fabric, said single piece panel (3) comprising connecting edges (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) which are connected to one another along connecting seams (9, 10, 11) to form said outer shell (2).
Abstract:
This patent is related to a method to prevent sinking in water and a clothe consisted of the rods made of composite material assembled to the swimming suit.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Garments that utilize complex panel shapes to minimize the total number of panels used, the number of seams, and total seam length. Increasing the complexity of panel shapes tends to make the cutting of panels more difficult and often results in more wastage of material, but the reduction of the number of panels and reduction in the number of seams and total seam length will actually simplify garment production and result in improved garments. Simplifying garment production will in turn generally result in an increase in the rate of production. Reducing seam length and the number of seams also reduces the chances of seams wearing out or splitting.
Abstract:
A laminate is provided that is highly conformable to the contours of a wearer's body when used in a personal care absorbent article or a medical article. The laminate is extendible in its cross direction to a width at least 25 % greater than an original unstretched width upon application of a stretching force and exhibits little or no retractive force in the cross direction once they have been stretched. Elastic elements are placed to provide stretch and recovery in the machine direction of the laminate without affecting the inelasticity of the cross direction. When the garment is worn, the laminate is extendible only in one axis where needed to provide a substantially perfect fit on the wearer while the retractive force provided in a second axis of laminate helps ensure snug fit.
