Abstract:
A skate blade sharpening machine includes an adjustable full-width dressing wheel (75) rotated by a separate electric motor (77) against the grinding wheel (13) of the skate sharpening machine.
Abstract:
A touch-sensing device (60) is used to determine the spacing of the cutting teeth (12) of a workpiece (10) in relation to a workpiece holder (44), said touch-sensing device (60) being in a measuring position reached by the tip (18) of a cutting tooth (12) of the workpiece (10) when the workpiece slide (42) is displaced in the direction of the swivel axis (A), said cutting tooth (12) pointing in the direction of the swivel axis (A). The touch-sensing device (60) comprises a barrier (70) whose length (L) in the middle plane (G) transversal to the workpiece slide rail (40) is greater than the maximum tooth spacing (T) of the workpieces (10). The inventive machine has a control mechanism which is programmed so that the touch-sensing device (60) is activated before an advancing device (50) if the tip (18) of a cutting tooth (2) is not located on the swivel axis (A).
