Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for controlling access devices including WI-FI and dual radio communications between an access control database and one or more access devices in a facility. The systems and methods allow real time communications between the database and the access devices utilizing existing communications WI-FI infrastructure in the facility while minimizing loss of battery life of the access devices by employing the radio network to target all or a portion of the access devices for communications when needed.

Die Erfindung betrifft sicherheitsgerichtete Funktionen in Automatisierungssystemen zur Steuerung industrieller Fertigungsprozesse. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine einfache und sichere Parametrierung der sicherheitsgerichteten Einrichtungen einer solchen Automatisierungsanlage bereitzustellen. Dabei werden nach dem Empfang eines vom Kommunikationsmaster gesendeten Startsignals alle weiteren Aktivitäten zur Parametrierung von einem Logikmodul gesteuert.

A method includes obtaining (302) information identifying a predicted trajectory (202) of material-based measurements associated with a transfer of material (104). The method also includes obtaining (308) actual material-based measurements during the transfer of the material and determining (310-312) whether the actual material-based measurements fall outside of the predicted trajectory. The method further includes identifying (312) a problem with the transfer of the material if at least one of the actual material-based measurements falls outside of the predicted trajectory. The method may also include generating (302) the predicted trajectory of the material-based measurements using historical data associated with one or more prior transfers, such as historical data associated with at least one pump (110) to be used during the transfer of the material. The actual material-based measurements could include measurements of a level and/or a volume of the material in a tank (102).

본 발명은 삼중화시스템의 입출력모듈 진단장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 데이터 케이블을 통해 삼중화 시스템에 인가된 신호에 대한 결과값을 수신하여 그 상태를 출력함으로써 입출력모듈의 건전성을 진단하는 것으로, 실시 예에 따른 본 발명은, 외부전원이 입력되어 구동전원을 인가하는 전원입력부와; 삼중화 시스템의 입출력모듈과 연결되어 소정의 전압이 입출력되는 입출력단자부와; 상기 삼중화 시스템의 입출력모듈에 일정 전압을 인가하는 릴레이부와; 상기 입출력단자부 및 릴레이부의 입출력 신호를 제어하는 메인컨트롤부와; 상기 삼중화 시스템과의 동적 데이터 교환을 위한 통신변환부;를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이와 같은 본 발명은, 삼중화 시스템의 입출력모듈에 대한 건전성을 정확하고 빠르게 진단하여 고장 유무를 신속하게 파악할 수 있으므로 시스템 정지 등을 비롯한 심각한 오류를 미연에 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

The present invention relates to a system and method for monitoring subsea equipment performance and for providing early warning for equipment maintenance, comprising at least one sensor coupled to said equipment and arranged to measure at least one performance indicator value and a calculation unit for sampling the measured indicator values at a chosen rate, and from the sampled data estimating a likely future development of the sampled value and estimating the time for the passing of a chosen threshold value, the threshold value being a critical value requiring repair of replacements of said equipment, the system being adapted to provide a signal indicating the calculated time of repair/replacement.

A reduced rule set (310) for identifying a root cause of an aberration in an industrial process is generated from a complete rule base . The rule base includes plurality of rules for the industrial process, and each rule comprises a condition of at least one process signal of the industrial process and a fault which corresponds to the condition of at least one process signal. Available process signals are identified. Rules are selectively removed from the rule base to produce the reduced rule set .
