Abstract:
The invention relates to bridge crane assembly and a method for installation of a bridge crane. The invention is especially applicable for use in service and repair of vehicles and other heavy equipment in field conditions, such as crisis areas. The bridge crane assembly is supported by two containers (91, 92), upon which there are support frames(10, 20). The support frames are fixed to the top corners of the containers with twistlocks (19a-19d, 29a- 29d), and the support frames support a crane bridge (30) with a hoist (40).

A lifting tool (2) for use in lifting components (1,5) from a wind turbine gearbox during service or repair comprises a frame-like structure comprising interconnected beams (4,6,8,8,10,12,20,22,24,26,28) for securing to the gearbox housing once an upper housing part has been removed to provide an opening to the gearbox interior, the tool being secured to the gearbox at a periphery of the opening, and further comprising one or more pulleys (36) mounted on the frame- like structure, a lifting chain, cable, wire or rope extending over the pulley or pulleys attachable to a component (1) within the gearbox, the frame-like structure comprising a number of inter-connectable modules.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung für Inspektions- und Wartungsarbeiten an Rotorblättern und/oder der Turmoberfläche großer Windkraftanlagen, insbesondere Off-Shore-Anlagen. Die Vorrichtung weist eine Führungs- und Hubeinheit mit mindestens zwei Ringen zur Fixierung am und zur vertikalen Bewegung entlang des Turmes auf. Auf dem Umfang der Ringe verteilt weisen diese jeweils mindestens vier oder mehr teleskopierbare Traversen mit Aktiveinheiten auf. Die Traversen sind in Richtung der Achse des Windkraftanlagenturmes teleskopierbar, wobei die Antriebseinheiten die Traversen bewegen und zur Fixierung an die Oberfläche des Turmes anpressen. Weiterhin weist die Vorrichtung einen frei auskragenden, mehrgliedrigen Gelenkausleger auf, der über ein Gelenk an der Führungs- und Hubeinheit befestigt ist. Die Glieder des Gelenkauslegers werden durch Antriebselemente zueinander bewegt und stabilisiert. Bevorzugt weist der mehrgliedrigen Gelenkausleger an seinem äußeren Ende einen Arbeitskorb und/oder eine Anschlusseinheit für technische Geräte zur Inspektion oder Reinigung auf.

A portable crane assembly (300) for servicing a wind turbine. The crane assembly includes a boom member (303) having a lift member attached to at least one post member (303). The post members are configured to attach to a first portion (304) of the wind turbine. A support is connected to the at least one post member. The support further connects to a second portion (309) of the wind turbine. The lift member includes a line (306) for lifting wind turbine components and is sufficiently movable on the boom member to transport wind turbine components to and from the wind turbine.

A work platform (10) for use in performing maintenance while supported on an overhead crane (14) . The work platform is particularly useful for performing maintenance on overhead cranes located in areas where normal lifting equipment and/or scaffolding cannot easily access the overhead crane. However, the work platform (10) is also useful for performing maintenance on equipment and/or structures in the vicinity of overhead cranes, and on overhead cranes located in areas without accessibility problems. The work platform (10) is hoisted for placement on support structure of the overhead crane (14) by hoist apparatus (18) of the overhead crane (14) . When positioned, the work platform may be fully supported on the support structure of the overhead crane.

Lifting equipment (10) for lifting a heavy load such as an air conditioning unit (11) to be attached to a wall or other elevated surface (12) and its method of use to avoid lifting a heavy hoist is described. The lifting equipment (10) has a foldable frame (14) which is assembled and then attached to the elevated surface (12), a hoist (23) and attachment means (24) for attachment of the load (11) to the hoist (23). A cable (26) of the hoist (23) is attached to the frame (14), alter which operation of the hoist (23) to retract the cable (26) causes the hoist (23) and he attached load (11) to be raised towards the frame (14). After attaching the load (11) to the wall (12), the hoist (23) is detached from the load (11) and actuated by means of a remote controller (29) to lower the hoist (23) from the frame (14).

A shock absorbing device (40) is provided for use on a hoist (10) of the type generally used for safety of personnel entering a manhole (11) or the like which has a base (13) for mounting on a support surface at the hole and a jib portion. A winch (21) is mounted at one position on the hoist (10) for paying out and pulling in a first cable (22) which passes over the jib portion to a pulley (24) at the jib end (17). A fall restraint device (29) with a second cable (27) is mounted at a different location on the hoist (10) with the second cable (27) extending upwardly from the hoist (10) to a second pulley (32) at the jib end (17). The shock absorbing device (40) for the pulleys (24, 32) includes a common mounting member (42) pivotally attached to the mounting element (41) at the jib end (17) for pivotal movement relative thereto about a horizontal axis (54) with a shock absorbing brake (46) arranged to resist said pivotal movement up to a predetermined load limit such that a downward shock force from the load on at least one of the first and second pulleys (24, 32) causes the common member (42) to pivot downwardly in a shock absorbing action.
