Abstract:
A violin knee-rest comprising a support with a connecting member attached. A rigid having an elongated opening member is attached to the connecting member. A sliding member is attached to a screw with a U shaped head and a screw thread. The sliding member is configured to slide across the rigid member through the first elongated opening. The sliding member having an elongated opening is configured to be fastened at a desired location on the sliding member by a first wing nut and a first washer arrangement. The violin receiving member has a first end which is threaded. The violin receiving member has a second end which is concave shaped to hold a base of the violin. The receiving member is configured to slide across the second elongated opening of the sliding member. The violin receiving member is configured to be fastened at a desired location on the sliding member.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A guitar support comprising an attachment carrier and one or more releasable attachment means; the attachment carrier having a fixture adapted to releasably secure a guitar strap to the carrier in use; a leg releasably connectable at a first end to the attachment carrier and connectable at a second end to a base; the base being connectable to the leg by an articulated linkage; the base having an engagement surface configured to engage a musician's thigh in use; the attachment means being adapted to be releasably secured to the body of a guitar so that the weight of a guitar in use may be partially or wholly supported by the base.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a stand for a stringed musical instrument, the stand comprising : a stand plate for supporting the instrument when in a deployed, standing position, a fastening plate attached to the stand plate, and means for engaging a pre-existing fixing point for a strap attached to the fastening plate wherein the means for engaging a pre-existing fixing point for a strap is movable relative to the fastening plate in order to brace the fastening plate against the stringed musical instrument. The invention also relates to, a stand wherein at least one of the fastening plate or means for engaging a pre-existing fixing point for a strap comprises a fixing point for a strap, guitar comprising said stands, and a method for attaching a stand to a stringed musical instrument.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for carrying a wind instrument. The device comprises a Y-shaped frame having two arms (2, 2') extending upward, which are arcuate at the free ends (9) of the arms, and a third arm extending downward, which forms a support (4). The two arms (2, 2') and the support (4) converge in a connecting element (3) and are connected to each other there. The arms (2, 2') can be designed as one piece together with the support (4) and the connecting element (3) in order to form a unit, or the arms (2, 2') can be connected to the connecting element (3) in an insertable or pivotable manner. A retaining element (5) for hanging the wind instrument (17) is provided on the connecting element (3).
