    Abstract: A method for adapting telemetry settings in a cloud computing environment is provided. The method is carried out by a telemetry controller within the cloud computing environment. The method comprises receiving information on at least one misbehavior of an application component, determining, based on the received information, whether to modify a sampling frequency of telemetry data for the application component, and if it is determined to modify the sampling frequency of telemetry data for the application component, initiating modification of the sampling frequency to a modified value.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for signaling workflow modifications in a network based media processing (NBMP) workflow. The method includes obtaining a NBMP workflow, generating a modified NBMP workflow by adding tasks configured to perform predetermined functions to a work description of the NBMP workflow, wherein the tasks do not change an output of the NBMP workflow, and signaling the tasks of the modified NBMP workflow based on a task group object. Tasks are included in a task group and are determined based on a group identification, a task identification, a group mode, and a net-zero flag of the task group object. Based on a status of the net-zero flag, the one or more tasks in the task group may be removed from the modified NBMP workflow without effecting the output of the NBMP workflow. Multiple task groups may be included in the modified NBMP workflow and removed independently.

    Abstract: A method of data transfer to a plurality of devices on a mesh network includes receiving bulk data at a proxy device in the mesh network; storing, at the proxy device, the bulk data; confirming, to a source of the bulk data, that the bulk data is received; after confirming that the bulk data is received, performing a transfer of the bulk data packet-by-packet to at least one other node in the mesh network; and performing a unicast communication to identify missing packets. The transfer can be or include a cascade transfer in which the data is transferred packet-by-packet to a next available node in the mesh network that itself passes a received packet to its next available node in the mesh network.
