Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one approach, includes: receiving a first request to perform a write operation from a host, and performing the write operation. Metadata corresponding to the first request is sent to the secondary data storage device, and metadata corresponding to a second request to perform the write operation is received from the secondary data storage device, where the second request was received at the secondary data storage device from the host. The metadata corresponding to the first and second requests is used to determine whether the write operation has been mirrored across the primary and secondary data storage devices. In response to determining that the write operation has been mirrored across the primary and secondary data storage devices, a response is sent to the secondary data storage device which indicates that the write operation has been reconciled across the primary and secondary data storage devices.

Abstract: A method for dynamically altering logical storage capacity within multiple storage drives is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method monitors, within a storage environment, characteristics (e.g., age, wear, etc.) of multiple storage drives. Each storage drive has an amount of overprovisioning associated therewith. Based on the characteristics, the method periodically modifies a logical storage capacity of the storage drives in order to alter the amount of overprovisioning. The method then reorganizes the storage drives within various storage groups (e.g., RAID arrays, storage tiers, workloads, etc.) based on their logical storage capacity. For example, the method may place, as much as possible, storage drives of the same logical storage capacity within the same storage groups. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

The method can also include visualizing the formal data query to the user and receiving a feedback response from the user. The method can also include storing the natural language query and the corresponding feedback response as ground-truth pair. Abstract: A set of images and a corresponding set of textual information are received, such that a first textual information is to be presented with a first image. The first textual information is translated into a set of translated textual information, each textual information in the set of translated textual information corresponding to a language in a set of languages. A set of layout parameters is determined for at least one translated textual information. The translated textual information is transformed according to the set of layout parameters and overlaid on the first image. The overlaying causes a pixel of the transformed translated textual information to be superimposed on a pixel of the first image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automated resolution of over-specification and under-specification in a knowledge graph are disclosed. Abstract: A computer system visualizes medical information for a patient. Natural language processing techniques are applied to identify medical concepts within unstructured text of medical information. Values for the identified medical concepts are derived from combinations of values within the medical information. A visualization is generated for a selected derived value, wherein the visualization includes a plurality of interconnected nodes each associated with a corresponding information source utilized for determining the selected derived value, and wherein paths of the interconnected nodes in the visualization indicate the corresponding information sources utilized to produce the selected derived value. Information of a selected node of the visualization is updated based on user verification of the information of the selected node. The visualization is modified based on the updated information. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and program product for visualizing medical information for a patient in substantially the same manner described above.

Abstract: Techniques for probabilistic analysis of chemicals are provided. An indication of a proposed chemical composition is received. A predicted toxicity score is generated for the proposed chemical composition by performing probabilistic analysis on the proposed chemical composition. The probabilistic analysis includes identifying, based on a knowledge graph, at least one similar composition that is structurally similar to the proposed chemical composition. The analysis also includes identifying a set of chemical reactions that include the at least one similar composition, and determining one or more products of the identified set of chemical reactions. The probabilistic analysis further includes determining a toxicity of at least one of the one or more products. Finally, the predicted toxicity score is returned.

Abstract: A method and an information handling system having a plurality of processors connected by a cross-processor network, where each of the plurality of processors preferably has a filter construct having an outgoing filter list that identifies logical partition identifications (LPIDs) that are exclusively assigned to that processor and/or an incoming filter list that identifies LPIDs on that processor and at least one additional processor in the system. In operation, if the LPID of the outgoing translation invalidation instruction is on the outgoing filter list, the address translation invalidation instruction is acknowledged on behalf of the system. If the LPID of the incoming invalidation instruction does not match any LPID on the incoming filter list, then the translation invalidation instruction is acknowledged, and if the LPID of the incoming invalidation instruction matches any LPID on the incoming filter list, then the invalidation instruction is sent into the respective processor.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide techniques for data skipping that may be user defined and extensible.
