Abstract:
A cap with an illuminated plastic bill assembly. An illumination assembly provides power and controls for a light source that is used to illuminate the edge or surface of a plastic cap bill. The light passes into and through the plastic cap bill, causing the plastic cap bill to light up and glow in a variety of ways. The plastic bill can also be further decorated in various ways to allow for unique designs to light up and stand out. A cap crown portion provides the foundation to which the illumination assembly and plastic cap bill can be connected to through connection means. All of the listed components combined provides an assembly for a cap with an illuminated plastic bill.
Abstract:
A headlamp (1) for affixing to a head of a person is disclosed, said headlamp (1) comprising a flexible band (5), a lighting module (2) attached to said flexible band (5), a battery module (3) attached to said flexible band (5) external from said lighting module (2), and an electrical cable (4) connecting said lighting module (2) and said battery module (3) electrically. Said lighting module (2) comprises a lighting module connector (21), said battery module (3) comprises a battery module connector (31), and said electrical cable (4) comprises a cable connector (41) in each end. The cable connector (41) in one end of said cable (4) together with said lighting module connector (21) form a first electrical plug and receptacle connection, and the cable connector (41) in the other end of said cable (4) together with said battery module connector (31) form a second electrical plug and receptacle connection.
Abstract:
The white light spotlight for luminescence (e.g. biomarker) detection according to the invention comprises: • at least one solid state light emitting element to emit primary light, and • a plurality of wavelength converting materials, to convert part of primary light into secondary light, provided as an array of independent wavelength converting domains, wherein different domains comprise converting materials producing different secondary light emission bands/peaks, each converting material being adapted to convert primary light into secondary light, wherein each converting material is adapted to contribute to the total emission spectrum with at least one emission band/peak and the total secondary light emission provided by said converting materials provides a broad band emission spectrum except for at least one defined narrow wavelength range in which the spotlight produces no or significantly reduced light emission, and wherein the combined light emission from the converting materials is controllable to form said spectrum.
Abstract:
Described is a personal and portable recording, illuminating and data transmitting device constructed for mounting on or being integral to a wearable support device. The device includes, among other features, a light, audio and video source housing; a light source, such as an adjustable LED scope spotlight; an audio/video recording device, such as a high-definition video camera capable of transmitting live or recorded signals to remote displays or recipients; and an optional infrared light. The device may include a storage device slot for receiving a removable storage device, a wireless network antenna for connecting the recording device to a wireless network, an LED light indicating when the audio/video recording device is actively wirelessly transmitting, and an energy source housing electrically coupled to the light source housing.
Abstract:
A head-mountable portable device comprising: a first light source configured to emit a beam of white light in a first direction; and a second light source configured to emit blue light, the second light source being configured such that the blue light is substantially emitted in a second direction that is different to the first direction.
Abstract:
This invention relates generally to an illumination system that is con¬ figured for attachment to a hard hat or the temple arm portion of a pair of eyeglasses. The illumination system includes a light source (270)and a multi-axis pivot assembly to permit directional adjustment and focus of a beam of light. An adapter clip is provided to facilitate attachment to the temple arm portion of the eyeglasses. The adapter clip includes a plurality of grooves positioned between two flexible side portions to allow the clip to be slid along the temple arm to a desired position and snapped into a locked position. The illumination system is fully adjustable in terms of light intensity and direction of the light beams.
