Abstract: A system and method that enable data processing and dynamic recombination of data by software on a device to be enhanced without requiring a replacement of the main software image on the device. Runtime management objects are generated at a network management platform including an interpreted application. The runtime management objects, KPIs, and interpreted application are downloaded network access devices. Data is collected at the interpreted application and analytics is performed on the collected data. First new runtime management objects are dynamically created at the interpreted application. The first new runtime management objects are presented to the network management platform. Analytics on the first new runtime management objects is performed at the network management platform to generate second new runtime management objects to provide to the plurality of network access devices for processing by the downloaded interpreted applications.

Abstract: A method of connecting a mesh node to a mesh communication network comprising a plurality of interconnected mesh nodes, wherein said mesh node is arranged to connect to said mesh communication network using a default physical layer, PHY, and is arranged to connect to said mesh communication network using a long-range PHY, wherein a reach area of said long-range PHY is greater than a reach area of said default PHY, said method comprises the steps of determining, by said mesh node, that said long-range PHY is required for connecting to said mesh communication network, broadcasting, by said mesh node, a long-range support message using said long-range PHY thereby requesting connection to said mesh communication network, receiving, by said mesh node, from a mesh node in said mesh communication network, a support response of said long-range support message thereby indicating support of said connection of said mesh node to said communication network using said long-range PHY.

Abstract: Methods and systems for resilient network communication are provided. In one aspect, a network includes multiple West NEs, spine elements, and East NEs. Each element has multiple physical communication interfaces. A working communication path connects the West NE to the East NE through a spine element. A protection communication path connects that West NE to that East NE through a different spine element. The working and protection communication paths terminate at the West NE and East NE at maintenance end points. A protection group is formed of the working communication path and the protection communication path. The protection group maintains a state designating an active path and a standby path. Maintenance groups at the spine elements monitor continuity messaging for their associated maintenance end points to determine network health. Faults and other disruptions to network health are overcome by switching states within the ELPS protection group. Service assignment is optimized.

Abstract: A server configuration tool is presented for autonomously configuring servers located in a network. The tool may autonomously configure multiple servers in parallel based on individual states of the servers, which may be periodically and simultaneously determined. For example, the tool may determine which action to take to begin or continue configuring the server based on the present state of each server. Server states (and corresponding actions) can be edited through a user interface to alter the server configuration process without code changes. At any one time, multiple servers may be in different states requiring different configuration operations to configure the servers to be ready for use. The present systems and methods can be used to move multiple servers iteratively through different configuration actions based on the individual state of each server and to perform non-conflicting configuration operations for multiple servers in parallel.
