Abstract: A therapeutic method in which plural points on the body are stimulated by light of different wavelengths emitted from wands, probes or other applicators under the control of a central microprocessor. The microprocessor executes program instructions to produce light at each applicator whose intensity, frequency, duration and pulsation accord with protocols which are automatically selected depending on the portion of the body being treated. The protocols can be manually overridden by the therapist, in which case the changed parameters are stored in memory. The apparatus is particularly useful in performing traditional therapeutic methods to treat internal disorders, substance abuse, pediatric and podiatric problems and disorders of the ear, nose throat, as well as musculoskeletal, neurological or dermatological disorders.

Abstract: The disclosed technique, apparatuses and devices enable a mobile device to act as a pointing device equipped with integrated search tools, to define a virtual beam within which to search and discover information associated therewith. The user of the mobile device does not have to type, speak or otherwise specify keywords as search criteria. The search criteria can be merely the virtual beam itself. Search results are generated at a remote server system and communicated back to the mobile device, and then presented to its user via graphical, audio and/or other format.

Abstract: Roller skates having a shoe or boot (16) supported by a central support beam (26). The boot has an inside and outside corresponding to the inside and the outside of a user's foot to which it is designed to be removably attached. Each skate also has a first (34) and second group of wheels (40) in longitudinal alignment with the roller skate and in rotatable alignement with each other.
