Abstract: Systems and methods for signaling of traffic flow information for Discontinuous Reception (DRX) configuration are provided. A method of operating a UE for determining a flow type includes: receiving a configuration of flow identify information with an association between one or more of: Downlink Control Information (DCIs); Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTIs); a combination of fields; with one or more DRX configurations; monitoring a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in DRX Active Time; in response to receiving a PDCCH with DCI indication of a flow type, identifying the DRX configuration k associated to the DCI indication; and starting or restarting a corresponding timer in the next symbol after PDCCH reception. In this way, signaling for a flow type, DRX configuration, or DRX parameter value indication from a gNB to a UE can be provided, in order to optimize multiple DRX cycle configurations per Serving Cell, where one or more of the configurations are active simultaneously.

The first network node (111) also initiates (404) determining, using machine-learning, and based on the received set of information, a predictive model of Doppler shift pre-compensation. The training phase is of the predictive model.
