Abstract: An example of an apparatus including a memory storage unit to store telemetry data collected from a plurality of sources, wherein each source of the plurality of sources maintains confidentiality. The apparatus further includes an anonymizing engine to remove identifying information from the telemetry data to generate anonymized data. The apparatus also includes a communication interface to receive request from a client device for an upgrade. The request includes a requesting device configuration of the client device. The apparatus also includes a selection engine to select a subset of the anonymized data based on the requesting device configuration. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a comparison engine to analyze the subset of the anonymized data to determine a probability of an upgrade failure at the client device. Additionally, the apparatus includes an upgrade engine to implement the upgrade on the client device based on the probability.

Abstract: In an example, a method includes receiving, at a processor, object model data representing an object that is to be generated by an additive manufacturing apparatus by fusing build material within a fabrication chamber wherein a dimensional compensation has been applied to the object model data based on an expected object placement position. The method may comprise receiving, from the additive manufacturing apparatus, an indication of an object generation placement position within a fabrication chamber where the object is to be generated and comparing, by the processor, the expected object placement position with the object generation placement position. If the expected object placement position matches the object generation placement position, the method may comprise determining, by the processor, that the dimensional compensation is valid and otherwise determining, by the processor, that the dimensional compensation is invalid.

Abstract: An example device includes a camera to aim towards a build platform to receive material to be fused to form an article. The camera is to capture thermal images including a correction image captured during formation of the article at the build platform. The correction image is to be referenced to adjust a parameter of the formation of the article at the build platform. The example device further includes a controller connected to the camera. The controller is to control the camera to capture a calibration image with a heater associated with the build platform turned on. The controller is further to use the calibration image to compute a calibration to apply to the correction image.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a reflector having a parabolic shape, the reflector having a focal point and a plane of symmetry. The apparatus may also include a first energy emitter positioned at or near the focal point of the reflector, in which the reflector may reflect energy emitted from the first energy emitter in a first direction to a target area. The apparatus may further include a baffle extending along the plane of symmetry of the reflector, in which the baffle may absorb reflected energy directed to the baffle from the target area.

Abstract: An example of a server including a communication interface to receive telemetry data from a plurality of client devices. The telemetry data is to indicate a health of a client device from the plurality of client devices. The server further includes a prediction engine to process the telemetry data to determine the health of the client device with a prediction model to identify a hardware issue at the client device. The server also includes a diagnostic evaluator in communication with the prediction engine. The diagnostic evaluator is to request a local confirmation of the hardware issue from the client device upon identification of the hardware issue by the prediction engine. The local confirmation is determined at the client device via a diagnostic engine. The server also includes a reporter to report the hardware issue upon receipt of the local confirmation.
